Looks like a confirmed uptrend in the near term. Such spikes are usually followed by a slow move in the same direction. Easy to misread this as a daily pin bar. It has to fall but maybe in a month or so. Oh well..
The price will go where it has to go.

Lots of EURUSD options traded into a friday close. broadly speaking, a pretty bearish view from the options traders

Will make my personal "prediction" in 45 min when I have a daily candle. 'Different TFs have different predictions. Since I changed to H1/H4/Daily my trading has improved tremendously. Made 15% this week, 7% just today.

I am personally long/medium term bearish and currently taking any longer term trade only in that direction. So I like what you say. But todays price action is reminiscent of a knife cutting through butter. This type of move is usually followed through with a steady move in that direction. The median of calls/puts is around 3600, with low 3300 and high 3950. So most people see 3950 as the top of this bull trend. But they only see low 3300 in Jun 2014.

I guess you start using words like 'usually' when you have been trading long enough. Its also perfectly ok if you don't like my narrative style. In more technical terms, today's move blew a lot of short orders along the way and reduce the supply. The decline was relatively lower volume and obviously profit taking. The pin bar on the daily in this case is more suggestive of a continuation and not a reversal. I am sorry but that is as far from shakespeare as I can be.


PS: Today's move is unusual only on the daily time frame. Such moves are dime a dozen on shorter time frames and what applies to them applies to the daily (again, usually, my friend

well from this yes, but this is merely the last hours trade, there were many, many more throughout the day. This was just a lot of volume for this time of day
