{quote}... on another hand, I've just opened small long ... 0.8919'1 S/L 100 & T/P unspecified for now ... but looking at 0.925 - 0.930 area ... that's just a testing position, which if survivors FOMC then can have some longer-term prospect.

O.K. that trade is still alive & kicking, but has only survived by just 0.9 of pip on initial spike down and then later on consequential move down by only 3.5 pips ...
right now it isn't in much safer territory either (40 - 50 pips underwater) but ... looks like any imminent danger of stop-out is temporarily over ... for now at least.
So, that's all as for now ... until the end of festivity/holiday season. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year ...

{quote} Do you only look for these setups or actually do something based on these? What I infer from this post is that you enjoy these setups without doing anything. Good strategy. You are very smart. Everyone please follow Magix, he is great with a very deep thinking. I am long for 1.4440, just 4 pips short of 1.4444

the practice of fattening geese and male Muscovy ducks ( and the EU currency) by force-feeding them a short position whilst aiming a last leg long - was deeply discussed in the last Fed meeting. It is not widespread on commercial farms or retail platforms however. The term used for such a practice is called "Tazgheet" تزغيط from the verb "Zaghghat" زغَط. Meaning you are f*cked - in common English.Force-feeding of birds and some currency pairs...

Good day Sir TT.. vely good ducky read..
There's also a "Quacking Duck Noise Theory" in my toolbox where market participants tends to make the most noises at/near market extremes.. with this classic bear thread having gone noticeably quite during the recent run up from 1.33 & my bull$$$T M/T analytics, there's good odds that the Euro's top is not in place..

With USDJPY, EURJPY & GBPJPY playing out their near term scenarios, the EUR, GBP & EURGBP lagers could do a last minute Sharky Santa move to clean out the cluster of lopsided short stops during this traditionally thin holiday period.. Should the market stay in snooze mode, then the much anticipated 1.40+ mid term zone could happen in January prior to a major retrace/turn.. watch a half session move above 1.3668~1.3688 & under-shoots to 1.3568 zones for short term clues..
Merry Christmas & a Great New Year for all..

Just sharing my point of view. It is quite difficult to explain why, due to the market is changing depending on the strength at that moment.
Yesterday for example, it should has a correction upward, but the strength weaken at the middle, then it continue to fall.

Cheers mate. This helps. I know the basics of correlations but they tend to float around my head (plenty of space) and I work them out when I need a reference. I think I will make a list of all correlations, having a concise list should help me understand where the money is at.

... just one more post from me (self-confessed trading junky) at the end of my activity for this year ... short ... short ... and more short ... towards 1.3553'5
at this stage those are counter-trend positions (daily/weekly perspective) but that over-month-long uptrend is surely in correction mode, which may as well ...
turn into longer-term downtrend (however, that's something to re-evaluate early next year) ... in meantime, wish you all ... happy & relaxed pip's hunting.

Touched, now this is the level where I don't want to do anything....will wait for some bounce up to sell again, or wait for downmove for some long scalp possibilities.
