Next week is the FOMC week, better not be committed to something ... you never know who will give a Saturday's interview, and the reporter take his/her statement while markets form a sentiment around it.

Cable is at exhaustion point.I said this same few days ego when it was 64
We will visit 55 again before possible up moves. Its way overdue for correction and Carney is somewhat subdued which tells me Brits can't compete globally if everyone is trying to lower their currencies.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

Hi Vachus
My trading plan allows me wide distances from entry without fear and that's why I don't use hard stops.
Trick is to use smaller lots in frequent manner at key junctions.
Euro to me no matter what Feds do is heading to 1.30. Fundamentals support lower Euro

Market is gearing up for possible QE tempering in Jan 2014
Once this is done both Euro and Cable will come down to parity or closer to true worth.
To me irregardless of Feds actions Euro is heading to new crises with Greece,Spain,Italy particularly with Greece which is due to replay 10b debt but so far all the austerity measures made whole lot of people unemployed and mad.Something ugly is going to happen.

I am not quite sure how low euro can drop, but a look at cable weekly tells me it is going to start big drop. Cable current weekly is engulfing last week red candle and is going to close red and below last week low, and all this happens near the top. On top of this the price pattern is forming a converging wedge.

Fully agree with you here. If the week's wick closes looking this on euro, and you see how it has behaved in the past with 70-90 pip wicks we should be in for at least 300 pip drop next week.

Will evaluate more after the market closes. Errand running time now.

I was just commenting just in case someone holding a position highly leveraged ... But i wish you all the best to your trades! The 1.34 buying was based on options & leveraged funds - AKA they will take profits sooner or later. The last straw in this bullish momentum is the feds. Markets are calling the feds they won't taper in December. So, they have something to keep holding on to! But once we crossed December , with inflation numbers coming out and lower expectation of GDP it will be time for reality check. This is where things will get interesting, and Draghni drops his Christmas face and say " The ECB will do what ever it takes to fight the euro ".

But, don't be a party crasher and let the kids have fun with their momentum singing " 1.40 , 1.45 , 1.50 or hey even 2.00 "
"It's the Margin, Stupid."

just for fun go here
Plug your account number and % gain you expect and see the results.Once you see how little it takes to make great money in longer term then you will realize going small for long haul is better.
My trading plan is based on 5% gain or more monthly.
Stay away from high leverage and large lots and you should do fine.

5% is a good goal. Rule of 72 says you'll double your money every 14.4 months.
