ok so after trying it on finfx, i now know it was a broker issue... weird. as typically Global Prime is pretty good with EAs

I have decided to make the SD EA a separate EA instead of sticking it into the present one, the latest version 9 of the MT_14 will be posted this week end, the only changes will be the addition of the "Only one trade per candle", user setting and also the fixed stop loss will now be based on "pips per pair loss", so if you set it for 40 pips this will mean a SL of 200 pips for a basket of 5 pairs or a SL of 400 pips for a basket of 10 pairs. Those will be the only changes for now as it seems to be working OK when you get the right settings for the...
looks good. but i remember on daily chart most of games was over and get revere special in case of basket SD zones.i think we should have start in new thread, if its standalone ideas based on SD only.

I want to share my way of basket trading. My favorite is a basket of 4 pairs: EURJPY, GBPJPY, USDJPY and CHFJPY. I donīt care to much about AUD, NZD and CAD.
The chart below shows my present setup. (Donīt pay any attention to the settings of the EA, Iīm just playing around with it.)
On the chart I have two sets of HAS. The one I use is 2-7-2-9. The slower one is 2-15-2-20, just for comparison. I think that the second one is far to slow.
The dots come from PerkyAsctrend1. To me, itīs very reliable. It usually gives signal a few (vital) bars before the HAS does. Without being very choppy.
The two I-XO-A-H, Iīm just playing around with them. You can see the boxsize at the indiīs name. Donīt pay any attention at this stage.
At the bottom I have my favorite indi, the CCFp. Itīs a strength indicator. As default it shows all the 8 main currencies, but here I have excluded the AUD-NZD-CAD. You can set it to include the currencies you want, from 2 till all 8 of them. You can also change the colours. The yellow (thick line) in this case is the JPY. I have found that when the JPY crosses the zero-line, itīs a good entry place. My settings are 3-6-1-2.

When you upload the CCFp to the chart, it usually doesnīt show anything. Thats because all the lines are black, to begin with. If you change the settings a little, the colours turns up. Let me know if you have any problems with that.

This is how I check the individual pairs in my basket.
Itīs always good to keep an eye on the GBPJPY, because that one is dominant in the basket.
The CCFp consists of only 2 currencies per chart. Settings as the chart above.
The charts are from a different broker, thatīs why there is a time-difference compared to the chart above.
