Who can tell me how to set the "Trading hours"?What is the meaning?Is it the local computer time which I was?I am in the East Zone 8,how I could set it?

I started to get cross eyed reading this thread, it does go off on different tangents, which post has all the indicators we need to test it- is it automated or semi-automated.

Is this the original TMS by eelfranz which is a great system and which I am extermely grateful for?

Dear Seller9,

I have been using TMS manually since 6 month now. Recently, I have found this thread regarding the EA of the same. I have back tested the version TMS_V19_MTF with GBPUSD pair with very good curve which I have attached here. When I have started to test again with increase volume it is giving error of zero divide. I would like to get the optimum setting for other pairs as well as GBPUSD.

I need your help to resolve this error in above mentioned version (attached here).

sorry but your model quality is bad. try using tickstory and use every tick and a model quality of 90%+

btw can you post the indicators needed?

As Trading made simple is based on new candle open, I have used open price only. Please find attached indicator. I am looking for trade manager which can put Jumping stop loss of 30 pips and close open order when color of synergy candle changes.

First of all, thanks Steve, for taking the time to create this EA for 'Trading Made Simple' (TMS) .

Correct me if I'm wrong, however, but in the 'Big E comments' pdf file, one can easily see
that eelfranz used a 5 EMA (not a SMA), with shift set to 2. This EA uses a 5 SMA with shift
set to 1 (SmaVal = iMA(NULL, 0, 5, 1, MODE_SMA, PRICE_TYPICAL, 0).

So, anyone who would like to change these settings according to the 'original' ones, just change
the above code to:

SmaVal = iMA(NULL, 0, 5, 2, MODE_EMA, PRICE_TYPICAL, 0);

If Steve reads this post, he might want to correct this in his EA too, or make two versions
available (or... don't bother :-)

Hi all,

Thanks for all the info posted here

Just some beginner questions if I may.

I understand the TradingHours settings are to prevent the EA from trading when market conditions are not favorable (Asian Session?).

Now if I am in timezone EET (Eastern Europe), what settings do I have to have there? (do you usually target the London + US sessions, or which ones?).

Also, what do you refer to when talking about the Hanover time settings?

And, is 22 the latest version? Any recommended settings? (I have seller9's settings from quite a while back, from v15. Not sure if they are good for v22 anymore).

You weekend exercise if to study the psf manual and prepare you EA with the paramters and svae them as set files for forward testing starting next week using a new demo account of US$50,000. Try to grow that by 10% every 20 trading daysas the initial target.
Post your trades here next week and also post your set files.
