Fish Net EA has built in mechanism to detect News spike to avoid taking trades during news spikes and suspend EA automatically for a few hours. So just let EA run next week nonstop to test it.

I have yet not received the Fish Net EA to run on new demo account, though the promised EA is already running on a demo account which is shared and made public on my fxbook (shared in this forum earlier)
Are you suggesting the same "promised EA" to run, or, this "Fish Net EA" is different, if it is different please mail me copy of it. I have already sent the mail to you.

PromisedEA is different from Fish Net EA and xlitang had this to say so be patient a little:

FishNetEA has been sent out to those who requested. You will need to put FisnetEAv1.0.ex4 in expert folder and IndicatorMethods.dll in library folder. If EA can't load dll library, please install microsoft visual c++ 2013 redistribution package on the PC that running EA.

Xlitang, can promisedea2.0 lose the whole account (theoretically) or it has some built in capital protection at -I don't know- 50% or something?

whats the requirements for Fish Net EA? should we use the rule like the one in Promised EA(same pairs and should be attach in M5)?

It will have the option for you to set how much percent DD you can tolerate for live version.

I really don't understand the point of all this testing?

The details of the system are not disclosed.

Only the developer understands how it really works.

So, we are blindly testing an EA we neither understand or can improve upon.

Trading a system without knowing how it works is like jumping out of a plane at 20000 ft without a parachute.

Yeah...EXCEPT that NO ONE is actually forcing you to do anything you DON'T want to right?

IMHO you DON'T need to understand nor be able to improve upon the "science" of HOW an airplane works to be able to use one. WHY NOT just plug in xlitangs EAs and test them to see IF ithey really fits into your trading style and USE it IF they do?

Am thinking that IF you ALREADY had something better you wouldn't be here right?

Please am NOT trying to pick a fight - JUST saying.

My bad - Apparently I was looking at the Journal Tab instead of the Experts Tab. There IS an error (the one you spoke about above: "2013.12.09 10:20:02 FishNetEAv1.0 NZDUSD,M5: cannot load library 'IndicatorMethods.dll' (error 126)")

So I'll install microsoft visual c ++ 2013 redistribution package and see what happens.
