Of course, everybody relies on something... The question is "Why can't the majority of retail traders rely on Leading Indicators?
or precisely learn how to Master "PRICE ACTION".

Even if they rely on leading indicators, the fact doesn't add up because 90%+ of them are still struggling, which means that's a lie...

When i said Big Investors, I am talking about Smart Money Traders, and people that truly understand the psychological of the market,
and have a strategy for every market condition.

Every time there's a major move in the market, the mainstream media always finds something (rumor/fact/news) to justify that move, but
they never take the time to analyze the charts....I have no problems with fundamental analysis, but I simply believe that fundamental
news help the market to get to its initial direction faster......

Like you said its best to pay attention to as much as possible...I would prefer to say, the more you educate yourself about the market,
the easier things get for you.....It's never about getting the best entry/exit... It's all about the process and be consistent.
Have an INVESTOR Mindset, but Trade like an ENTREPRENEUR

Great. I am a technical analyst and so - news items do not mean much to me. The problem with technical analysis is this: There is a large room for error because so many different stuffs can be created based on the high. low close or open price.
All kinds of interesting setups are possible and that is the trap many traders fall into.

But the entir truth is right there on your chart. To make life easier, simply focus on the closing price.

When a new 4hr bar comes to life, whatever happened during the life of the bar is of little relevance. What happened when the bar died, is key. For example a 4hr bar opens at 1.27. Two hrs later price dropped 200 pips to 1.25. However the bar died at 1.268. See?
There are ways to figure out where price should close much more easily then the high/low of price during a specific period!!!!

I don't have the time to go into the hard math but all this talk about fundamentals etc is good because after-all, the economy is the platform on which price moves. However, the main information you really need in order to be a successful trader is already encoded in the current price. So, when news is released, DON'T BE concerned about how high/low price will go. Ask yourself: after all this craziness is over, where will price close. Once you are able to figure that out, enter the market at the point that allows you to get the pips you want.

Retail traders don't rely on "lagging indicators" simply because they don't have enough buying power.
You should do a study on exactly what "lagging" means for one.

For example: On tuesday, I posted 1.35648 as the level to watch. Once price closed above that number on the 1hr chart, I said we should be careful selling. As usual, some did and i am sure they will have to manage their loses for some time.
I said on Nov 28 that eurusd is heading for 1.37 because the move is technical. good or bad news will not change the trend.
Just before the new, I released a new number 1.35840 as the level to watch. Any move to that level will wake sleeper-cells: so, BUY strongly when price gets close there because eurusd will close higher.

Just before the NFP new release that level was marked by the green arrow on my chart!!Notice that eurusd closed above the yellow arrow for the first time at X. She close above it at A and C. She closed on the yellow arrow at D. So when the news came in, I knew that eurusd could not close below the blue arrow and so I was just hoping she falls strong enough and get close to 1.35840 so I can enter. She did so on the LIGHT BLUE arrow. Note where she closed(above the deep-blue arrow). From there, every close is above the yellow arrow.

I am done with this thread and I hope people will stop painting a bad picture for those who have brilliant ideas. Trading is difficult but it is not that bad. instead of telling people they CAN NEVER make it, tell them why you didn't make it so that they can learn from your mistakes since you don't want to learn yourself.

Have you seen anyone wasting time on someone they can beat easily. I think my presence here make some of you guys look simple and common. You have been giving weak info for long. I just dropped in to stir up things and show how weak some of you are. That is why you are so interesting in beating me out of here. Have you seen me attack any of your contributions? NO. I am also done with this thread.......... this forum.......... trading.............. and my wives. Where can we meet to tell you how many times I have done with all these?

On a serious note, it is all about acceptance of reality. No person can get to any palce until people honestly accept where they are right now to start with. There is a great difference between making a mistake and taking a wrong decision. A wrong decision is not a mistake, but confusing a decision with a mistake is a big mistake.
