Almost completed a continuous 24 hr run on the TDi EA and things are looking pretty good. I have a trade on Eur/Gbp that is about 73 pips underwater, if this was a real account I'd be a bit worried about this, has anyone closed loosing trades manually or just let them run?

cheers

Martin

From a personal Technical Standpoint, EURGBP is going through a bit of a trend change. With this being said, I would fully expect a retrace and tag to support prior to it moving much higher on the stick.

From a trade standpoint, EURGBP is one of the worst pairs I have seen for automated trading grids on a smaller range.

From a Testers Standpoint...Ignore what I have to say and use the MM and R:R that you would normally employ. Just because you are automated, doesn't limit you from using a little manual logic that you haven't set in the EA yet.

Myfxbook doesn't seem to be updating the TDI account. Has anyone experienced that before? {image} Both demos (TDI and X_2) are on one platform. I just switch between the profiles and accounts. The Publisher message in the Journal says 'ok' and the Refresh is set to 5min... {image} I'd appreciate any suggestions how to fix it. Thanks.

I had that problem a month or so back, where my accounts were no longer updating and I couldn't get them to. I have since moved to using the myfxbook ea, and that works flawlessly.

Hi Magix,

Here are the links to some of my demos: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/SarahW

The TDI demos look promising, as does X-MAS daily.

Thanks
Sarah

Great job on Working the M15!!

Slow n Steady wins the race and helps eliminate a lot of risk when applied to both the Grid and Martingale Strategies!!

Thanks for the info. I keep switching between the accounts on one platform, and I've noticed that myfxbook is updating the active one, but only if I retype the FTP info in MT4 every time I switch. Really annoying!!

Could you please tell me more about the myfxbook ea?

Kosmo,
This is what he is talking about. Selecting Metatrader EA instead of publisher.

Hi Bluejack,

Range is 25 for TDI - 15, no trailing, .2 money factor and 13 tp in money.

Looks good so far. I decided not to do trailing and let them run.

I am also running Allin5 on my real account but still tweaking the settings, esp for the more higher range pairs. I am in a bit of trouble with E/J when it shot up 500 pips over the past few weeks. I know Magix doesn't like E/G but I have had good success with low range pairs, like EUR/GBP, NZD/CAD, AUD/NZD and USD/JPY.

Sarah

I got caught a couple times in my early days of trading with EG and its limited range and just don't see enough reason to trade it...

If you are finding free money with it, Sarah, you might be the person to refresh me on that one.

I stay away from it, so can definitely stand to be educated on it's merits.

Keep on, Keeping on!

if (AutoProfit) {tp_in_money=AccountEquity()/100*tp_factor;}

tp_in_money=5000/100*.2

tp_in_money=$250
