I do that sometimes with my stops. I don't use tight stops, I'll keep them wide or remove stops and then put them later after the market calms down. Today I mostly bought e/u around 1.3560 and scaled out around 60 to 80 pips even though my real TP was 1.3662. I also use mental stops.

we did this up and down several times, since u turned from bear to bull weeks ago. i was wondering if those trades were with a similar stop loss. for instance did you get stopped out a long when we dropped to 3399 after we were at 3577? this one was 178 pips. there are others for 90+..

If I may…..this is how I see it :

Only two candle have passed till the recent high, which the breach of the highs are all good to revisit it (recent high), it may just be driven knowing of stops sitting there, if it is genuine it may go further, after 3 bars retracement if not breached, I will start to view it as congestion or a possibility to reverse….only my humble opinion...

Okay, if you were honestly curios i will answer:

Yes, what you described is a flaw in my strategy - i watched once trades in hunderds of profits lost and these were not highly leveraged but at least at a leverage of 20 and sometimes 25. So, if hypothetically the euro is trading at 1.335 now - i would have lost 90 pips in unrealized profits that i left on table. The thing is i'm not a full time trader and most of times i'm out not in front of a screen - i tried the mobile thing but didn't really like it. I'm not buying a position with hundreds of pips equal 1%

As for the drop when it happened, i got multiple longs were stop losed / knocked and others on break evens - so its not a clean entries and perfect bottoms catching every time.

It could correct to 1.3610/25 before firday NFP/Jobless Rate data.
IMO, we can reach the 1.3705 tomorrow (daily fibo 76.4%).

As Kuroro said : Its always easy to brag about a winner ... ( I took it while we were talking ) And had a limit sell - almost the top - at 14.41 but had to cancel it while i'm reading here
