Hello!

Despite i know Ferrufx its gonna tell me "read the thread first" :-)))) (i promise that i read it but still is not clear to me) i want to ask about the news releases and so on.

At some post you told us that we should turn off the EA one day in advance before the news release, close open trades and resume it a couple of hours after the release, but if its like that (like today for EUR,USD and GBP pairs) we would have the EA turn off almost all the week coz there are important news for major pairs every day, so i guess i'm missing something..

I guess also that having a 100000 account you dont have to turn off the EA, is that right?

May I ask what has changed between v.1 and v.2?

Besides being hinted that settings are more conservative, is it possible to understand what those settings are, how they can be changed and what's the logic of the EA? It certainly performs well, but it makes me want to understand a little more than just "it's a martingale type of EA."

What settings were changed in v.2 and to which effect?

My v.1 blew my demo account in little less than a week. V.2 is holding much better, but maybe it's too early to tell.

Due to NFP release tomorrow. I closed all running trades this morning and inactive the EA. I will only do this for NFP. Others news EA remain active and want to see how is the result. 6 days demo with more than 10% ROI is awesome! However, need more time to determine the result.

Anyway thanks xlitang for your effort and sharing.

Thats why i wrote my previous post Sam, to know if we have to turn off the EA with all news classified as important or with just some of them. For example this week there would be just one day where the USD is not affected by important releases.

So far its working great. The only thing that i noticed checking some myfxbook accounts made public at this thread is that sometimes u get into trades of 10 lots to recover from losses which can make you blow your account.

lot size is more conservative in v2 than v1. that is all.

EA can handle the news event well. However, to be safe don't trade news events and let news event 24 hours to quiet down.

Sorry xlitang coz i dont want to bother you, but as i asked you at previous posts if we want to be safe turning off the EA before the news and 24 after we couldnt be trading in almost all the week, thats what i dont understand.

Only for major news events, like FOMC and NFP, etc. I would rather trade safe than account blow up.

I think during christmas week, you can run your EA in very agressive mode!

more the market is ranging and more powerfull will be the EA. (i think)

This EA is insane! What if TRULLY xlitang has invented the forex "electricity" just like Edison?

I would advice you keep your EA algorithm to yourself xlitang...the LESSER traders know the better IMHO bcos there are many spoilers lurking about and we cant have that now can we?
