I someone is new to this thread, (s)he should try to read the whole thread first. After a while you'll understand the method and you know who's post to follow. after first pages, you should follow the post which you can learn something from them. after that you'll understand the main concepts of sonicR and then you can easily know which trades are Classic SonicR trades and which are not. you can follow others if you like, and don't pay attention to them if you don't. I personally prefer to trade Classic SonicR trades. But also I have other methods that enter me in the market, but I try to contribute here those which are related to sonicR or overall psychological matters.

If you want to be successful in this business, you should put time into it. try to read the whole thread. you'll find less than 10% of them is useful. Worthy things won't happen to you if you're always seeking for a short cut. [No offence. I meant the reader of this post by "you". people who know me, knew that I came up with some ideas to talk while reading other traders' posts. So these comments may not apply to you]

I consider breaking today's low at tomorrow a good sign for short-term correction. I'm already in the market, will add in mentioned condition. We also have a good support for this belief in weekly TF ..

Of course the overall trend is strongly up, so TPs will be limited.

Please don't trade real account if you're changing your opinion that easy. Remember, a trade should be planned BEFORE even you ENTER the market. You should consider all the alternatives.

Don't shift to real account untill you have at least 6 winning months on demo.

The EJ seems to be getting stressed on its uptrend journey, a retrace seems to be in the making, the Kangaroo candlestick is one of my favorite tool is this regard, so with one formed on the daily, I look to lower time frames to check for entries so on this pair the battle for me has been drawn, so i will wait for the bullish kangaroo in the 30minutes chart to fail then use sonicR(or atleast some of it's principles as I know it) to look for sell entries.

Otherwise, will use the 30minutes bullish kangaroo to trade cautiously with the trend on a semi scalp level if it pricks my interest. Thoughts welcome without prejudice.

Spot on. I am not interested in any sell trades on EU until the dragon breaks its last swing low at 1.35(M15TF).
I will only consider a REVERSAL at a break of 1.32. Always following the dragon.

Are YOU making money??? Trading KANGAROOS on 30min charts??? Have you bothered to even read the first page of this thread? Where on earth did you see anyone ever make mention of kangaroos??? If you want to communicate effectively here at least take the time to learn the SONIC R strategy or alternatively you can open a Kangaroo thread for the Kangaroo religion.

Put your money where your mouth is, why don't you tell us what you think/analysis about the possible direction about the market, I like the sonicr concept but I know exactly what I want from the system and what I don't, and that's my prerogative.

I also employ other methods and tools in my trading arsenal to help with my decision making BUT I don''t bring them up on this thread because they are not a part of the outlined methodology here and would only serve to confuse others the more. If I decide to share these other tools and methods here, I would either FIRST seek the permission of the author of this thread, like TAH did with PVSRA, or else start my own thread. That's the right thing to do!

I am also new to this forum and I'm certainly not a newbie. But being a newbie or not has absolutely nothing to do with doing the right thing! You can be a guru and still be wrong. What I am advicing you to do is the FIRST thing I did when I came across SONIC R. GO TO PAGE ONE, START READING AND if you hope to communicate effectively with others on the forum, DOWNLOAD THE TEMPLATES to communicate with your charts. Its the right thing to do.

Hello fellow traders,
first I want to say thank you for your great work, the countless hours dedicated to developing and teaching the system. Creating all those indicators and very nice templates with countless possibilities. I think this forum benefits tremulously from ppl. like you. I am glad to see there is a community of traders that try to help each other, help newbies learn and are always open offering suggestions... so Thank you again.

I have tried out various systems but I have to admit that SonicR has somehow hit something inside me. I don't know why, but I just like it. It does not have hundreds of indicators to confuse you and it does not rely on anything exotic. It also leaves enough room for the bright mind, for making educated guesses (decisions) and I have to say the Sonic templates (and control panel) is a work of art (having seen a lot of other stuff).

I have been watching, reading, learning and trying to become good enough to see the trades, to spot possible entries. When looking at various charts I can not help but notice that on the 15Min TF things can be very choppy. I tend to loose the sight of the "greater" picture. Even knowing that the general trend is upwards it is easy for me to get lost staring at the 15Min TF and thinking "NOW, THAT surly is a reversal" ... just to notice it was a "normal" bounce, a normal breathing of the market and the trend just continues upwards (or downwards).

I have had several set-ups where I dedicated a lot of time drawing trendlines from weekly down to 15min TF and then entered the trade when things lined up. The trades started out fine most of the time, they really went my way for a few pips. But more often then not suddenly price hits a level and really suddenly turns around, starts to plummet and takes out my SL...

This leaves me baffled, confused and feeling stupid about myself having totally misjudged the market. Sometimes price would reverse and head my way again, teasing me to re-enter ... just to reverse and plummet again taking me out. The third time it does this I am anxious, I dare not enter again because it took me out two times already ... and what happens then (somtimes) ... the market dances on my grave and price continues in the direction I thought it would... leaving me behind thinking how stupid all this trading is

So what went wrong? Was it my SL? Too narrow, too close? Sometimes that might be the case, but other times it is really wide and still I get taken out. Was it that I did not set my trades to BE soon enough? I don't know, perhaps... but then I had good trades where I would have been taken out at BE, letting the market not breath enough. One mistake I am sure about is deciding when to take profit. I have a real bad habit of not knowing where to place it. Sometimes I think the next resistance level is fine, just to see price continue for several more resistance levels and sometimes I think that there is no resistance level (trendline, full numbers, etc.) in between and still price reverses without even reaching any visible resistance (TP)...

I am still in the process of learning (obviously), but one thing I noticed for myself. When I look at the 1H TF instead of the 15Min TF, I can see much clearer where the trend is heading. I also see the bounces from and back to the dragon as opportunities to enter (re-enter) the trade. All the little wiggles that confuse me are taken out. If price bounces on the 1H dragon (and is below the dragon on the 15min) I tend to trust the 1h more... previously I would have looked (rather stared) at the 15min TF and hoped/convinced/stared until I was sure this was a trend-reversal and I was the first to catch it ... ... of course I was not ... I was just the guy that got taken out . Looking at the H1 feels much more clear to me personally ... perhaps because I am still too emotional about trades, entering, exiting, making profits etc... but that is why I am here, to learn, watch, and have fun doing it

So my question to you professional fellows. Does anyone of you trade Sonic on a 1H TF or is this a ridiculous idea of mine. I backtested it an the classic SonicR set-ups on the 1H TF are plentiful and have a high probability of being profitable.

Hope I have not overburdened the thread with my story, but just wanted to introduce myself and tell a little bit about me :-)
