All the nice movements was while i took my beauty sleep, but its an important thing

Got an entry on EJ M5 and close it manually with 36 pips. Its not the best day, but, pips are pips

Here are some trades last night. Waking up at 2 am to look at the markets seems to be lots of fun
In any case the entry was following the 5-15 approach with Stoch confirmation but unfortunately I had no way to stay and baby-sit the trade so the targets were set and I got some sleep before going to work....

I think that risk is a personal thing in many ways. The convention says 'never risk more than 2%', but on this thread: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=444377 the risk (to the account) is much higher. but the overall risk to your bank account is very small.....for potential huge gains.

There's many things in FX trading that sound good, and we kind of take them for granted, but upon reflection, they may not be accurate....like the 2% account risk for instance, and another one is '98% of retail FX traders fail'. <------- says who?......where is the study??? There's a lot like that, and (imo) FX trading is full of disinformation.....

CADCHF over +20 pips

Again entry based on rule but then no baby-sitting....

Not sure if these posts are allowed since they do not fully follow the rules so RJ or someone please let me know if I should not be posting trades like this to keep the postings clean.... thanks

Would anyone have any experience and advice to share relevant to situation when you can not stay by the screen?

Eastern time zone with full time job does not help since Europe opens at 2 am and by time I am back from work Tokyo is starting so no chance to trade NY....

I'm afraid that charts such as you posted are not allowed.....and Post #1 is pretty clear about that. I'm going to paste a past post about this to explain the reasons why this type of chart with extra indicators is not acceptable:

The reason why no other indicators will be allowed is simple. The system works, and it works well as it is. If someone with a year or two of struggling to be consistently profitable comes here and uses the system as is, they will be on the path to consistent profitability. However, if I wasn't so strict on the indi issue, by now people would see charts with various THV indicators, Coral, all manner of MA crosses, SAR, Inchimoku clouds, harmonic patterns etc etc etc......and then this thread would look like any other here at FF.....and the very people we are trying to help would see this thread as just another mongrel system that is complicated and open to all sorts of predictions and interpretations.

Who will win?......the brokers, that's who!!!

When people become consistently profitable with Genesis, they may well add their own indies to make the system even more profitable....and that's great....I love it. But hopefully, by then, they will realise that others who are joining our thread are in the same position that they once were themselves.

And what do they need? They need a consistent, easy(ish) system with pages and pages of examples with all the same charts, and a group of profitable Genesis traders to help them to become profitable.

And that's the reason why outside indicators have to be kept off the thread.

I was testing the system with just following the matrix and arrows for a while and to be all honest the demo account was melting.... but then the system is suggesting we look to confirm entry with the stoch and when using that to filter the entry it is much better (this in addition to arrows and Genesis 2.21 indicator).
Now on top of it, if I am to look at higher time frame and just observe trend it gets even better when making sure entries ONLY in that direction.
At the end I am a bit annoyed with all the filtering out but as usually in life there is an easy way and I think it would blow the account and proper way with all the filtering and it seems to work for me (keep in mind I am VERY new in this system). Now if I could sit in front of the screen and make sure I exit based on rules....

Sounds good to me... will adjust the template ... and make sure I post trade only if I am able to exit based on the system exit rules when I have an opportunity to be in front of the screen when closing so that no confusion is created... Thanks again...

Thanks for understanding. I know it can sound a bit harsh, but if I had not been so strict, then by now the system would probably be full of all sorts of indicators and newcomers to the thread, such as yourself, would be lost!!

I know several people here who have added and/or removed an indicator or two, and that's great. We all all individuals so it's fair enough that we make the system 'fit' us like a glove. But we have to keep a genuine Genesis template just for posting to the thread, so that people can see the original system consistently through the thread.

I too have made a couple of subtle changes, but I keep a genuine Genesis template just for posting purposes

Not harsh at all and makes sense... After all if something works as is lets keep it that way so that everyone else can understand it and I am sure more experienced members will bring enhancements as they get tested and proven to be working and in line with the system.
Actually I am impressed with how much work went into creating the indicators that are provided to everyone and all the help with posts...

Hi all,

I'm trying to start trading with M1 Method.

I'd like to know from experience trades if there are better pairs to trade with.

It seems E/U, E/J, E/A reflect better behaviours then f.i. GBP pairs.

But as a newbie of this system (not as a trader), I'll wait for your inputs.
