Well that was fun, finally a nice set up that did what it says on the tin. Lovely retest of the broken trend line. Sold a little bit followed by a bit more on the way down. Banked 1/2 (thanks PT) and left the rest to ride. Nice increase on my account today. Now to resisting losing it the rest of the week.....

Maybe these two wont go together.. USD strenght could be postponed for quite a few months.. As long as UJ sits below 102, it still has a chance for retracement in to he yearly range - 90's and below.. All the others - EUR, GBP, CHF, AUD showing simmilar potential of 700-1000 pips movement in currently developing swing..

If we get the meltdown I have been waiting for, we should see the Euro at 1.25xx by end of December, but maybe that is just me dreaming

How about 1.43 ? WHat meltdown you mean - technical or risk/fundamental meltwodn? Maybe batsard's plan is simple - they just will keep pushing higher and higher again and again - driving everyone crazy until...negative rates or some major risk from Spain or Japan...
When 1.275 lows gives ( even 1.31) - I would be looking for much lower than 1.25... Thousands of pips lower...

Looks like on my chart mr. Market is heading to 1.362x area first. Even my super duper mega correct EW count says the same

As, when it will start breaking down with LL's and stuff..(!) it will be too late, unstylish and distasteful to enter with shorts anywhere below 1.4 waterline

Yes quite possible. I believe we will see 3630 area, but I am not yet convinced we will see it today.
This morning many shorts were wiped out so now they have to wipe out the longs before attacking the shorts again.
Rinse and repeat until we get some major news catalyst.

The really funny part here is that ECB governing council members are trying to talk down the Euro and they are failing miserably.

Interestingly - we have different technicals at 1280 area.. It culd be the target - and its my sweet spot for short oportunities.. But I dount play longs with Gold right now - its too dangerous - it keeps pointing for lower low below 1180's and any bllushiness untill then is corrective in nature, which makes it difficult to predict..

Oh I'm not long either. That is my short entry point... if it gets there. Otherwise I am not interested.
