Disliked{quote} I'm not on VPS, VPS is naturally faster because it's closer to the IC Markets server in New York. They might have some routing issues from Australia going to New York servers that is causing this slow latency. Their Demo server when I tested it is faster than their live server it's the same as your result there.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Well that would explain it. Obviously the slower results you posted are due to the latency between your location and the NY4 data center. If you are in Australia as I am, the results you posted are actually damn good given the distance between AU and NY. Running Expat test on a demo feed is a waste of time. The demo feed used by a lot of brokers is a generic feed and the server can be anywhere. Don't assume that because a brokers live account feed comes from NY4 that the demo feed comes from the same location, in a lot of cases it doesn't....Ignored
DislikedJon's got it; Australia to NY, where the trade server is located, is definitely going to have considerable latency/ping times. This is a clientside problem, not a serverside one. So far as posting latency goes, it's definitely important to keep in mind your geographic proximity to the trade server. Further, when posting latency tests, be sure to disclose your location and set up so we can accurately gauge whether there's an issue on the broker's end, or on your own.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Those figures refer to 'per side' ie. $3.50 to open, $3.50 to close in the case of the True ECN account. So a total of $7.00. That's why I quote figures as 'per lot r/t' (round trip) which means the total commission paid for the trade (open and close).Ignored
Disliked{quote} This is one way charge, for selling and buying its charged 7$Ignored
Disliked{quote} {quote} So $7 for the MT4 true ecn and $6 for the C trader ooh too muchIgnored
Disliked{quote} You are paying $5.50 per lot for the True ECN account so you know you are receiving a good discount. A discounted commission rate of $5.50 per lot r/t (27.5 per million) is available for cTrader via HFT Group IB.Ignored
