I'm not very smart about these things but common sense would say to me a neg interest rate on savings would cause a rush to deposit funds. If I was in that situation I'd be keeping my money under the floorboards rather than losing it to a banks fees. This surely wouldn't be a good scenario in the larger picture?

This movement will be very difficult for highly leveraged intraday to catch both up and down move don't seem like direct buying and selling for E/U but more like adjusting the rate to other EUR/XXX. Have a look at EUR/AUD and by the rate it's going very possible to hit 1.47/48. Looking to buy dip.

Hi ffleo, i'm back now ,and can you give you my reasoning for why I think we are heading higher. At least to 1.354. As you can see the bold TL is broken and has engulfed the last few red candles on the hourly. This suggests we will probably go back to 54 unless we swiftly go below the TL and time is running out for that (seems to be compressing on the 5m for a move as i type). I don't know for sure it will break 54, but this is the fourth test of this number now and it often breaks then. we will see. structurally, this move looks very similar...
