For the guy who asked me earlier what I was doing with EJ: I just took profits across the board on JPY and it transformed the day from picking up peanuts to hmmm, this is quite good.

Degree as in extent. Don't worry, I am not asking you to see a certificate.

I am also not the gambling police. People can gamble as much as they want. I am just saying I gamble less. I regard eliminating gambling to be a good measure of trading/working as opposed to speculating/gambling.

that's like "a little pregnant". u either are, or not. tricking ones self into thinking "good measure" eliminates the gamble is fantasy. look up the definition of gambling. We are no different then a guy at the track looking at a racing form. when your outcome is a certainty, then your not gambling.

Still playing with it, and think this could be reason for whole correction on EU. Thanks to that cut, European banking sector is safe for a while (lets say two months) and foreign capital should be really flowing in here, to invest in European assets. Short term repositioning, may be possible.

Given that trading involves one other party. I can control what I do even if I can't control what the other party does. I am taking less of a gamble compared to someone who takes control of neither what he himself does, nor what the other party does. When someone bets as if he's in a casino, then he has assigned control of himself to the other party. That's 100% pure gambling. I on the other hand only take a 50% gamble. I have a 100% advantage over all these pure gamblers.

I remember Mom telling how Dad came home one day crestfallen: He'd lost all his pay at the track. She told him "don't you EVER go to the track again without me"!
Since then they went to the track nearly every month. They never lost money again.

When Mom was working her way through college at a speakeasy in Saratoga Springs she dated a professional race track player, who taught her the ropes.

I wish she were still alive. She could probably teach us all a thing or two about playing the forex!

Unfortunately no. Real trading is like real business that takes real work. It's not something that a gambler is used to. So I suggest you keep gambling and stick to your easy way of life. Since gambling produces enough to fund your life style. That way is better than working in a business.

Like a typical business, my trading generates steady income every day, with some days better than others, depending on the available volatility. For a low volatility day like today, I have done rather well due to the late showing of the jpy. I might even say it saved the day.
