It still comes down to sentiment and fundamentals and they ARE important. And trend.
There is no such a thing as "everything is priced in fundamentally so charts are holy grail".
charts are ONLY good for a BOUNCE...period.

I had to adjust the USDOLLAR ascending channel. Kind of curve fitting but in this case it is acceptable since the channel is still in its infancy.
Price was well rejected off the new channel support so that gives me confidence that support will hold.
Still, with the CBs skewing the market sentiment, anything can happen.

Finally, we got the loooong expected 1.3500. But......why do I not dare to short now? Not yet? i don´t see any reason for going down. No pattern, no fundamentals, no data.

got burned on a couple shorts, cautiously long now...
In order for me to consider going long (on a scalp or intraday basis), I would want to wait until I see a good sized pullback... but that's me.
