So basically nothing happened lol. 4hr closed unchanged, but with double wick off 100. Bulls should be happy with daily close 99.99 or better, then you know the breakout is happening. Buying now at open of new 4hr candle with stop at 99.79 is a trade I'm passing up on, but may be worthwhile.

hmmm japan gdp positive, usd/jpy goes up. tons of us results negative, usd/jpy goes up. someone explain?

strong demand for USD against the Yen ie. more buyers than sellers

Technically it should go up? But data down? Sometimes its either one of them or combination.

out @105 with +70 on average since yesterday Yellen is too big risk that I dont want to take from my green pips + the PA above 100 was not that impressive as I tought (maybe also because looming of the "Big Dove")

I'm short. New short term high. S/L against the 2nd top of the triangle. I got in for a better price that I had a few days ago so even less risk to trade this triangle south.

I just opened up a sell position at 100. Bulls made some money this last week. I reckon by Friday some people will be booking profits and expect a drop from here unless of course the FED or BOJ intervenes and just milks this up to around 100.45-100.60 then all shorts should be squeezed out. I reckon if we pass 100.46-100.60 then 103-105 is definitely possible within a month.

I have a feeling that the magnitude of movement in a case of tapering would be much bigger that in a case of postponed taper. That makes me more comfortable with going long USD than selling it.
