now you try to grab 90% of move and you stand in one place, your entries are great, your exits are too greedy and you loose in consequence

I must admit , if I had been doing what I am doing now since last year , I would be having at least £500K in the account , but I don't regret .It was a learning curve , the pain , the tears , the anxiety , all that was part of the experience. I don't get as emotional as I used to. That’s why I am saying, things have changed .This account will break records
As for my exits, I am sticking to my system. I have created a new tab called 1 to in my spreadsheet to see if its better to exit with 1 to 1 target or not , if over time its better then I will do that , at the moment I just have to stick to my system .The other trouble wit Bill Williams is that his entries are perfect and his exits waste a lot of pips so I am trying to get round that

i was looking for your trades and i noticed that your entries are very precise...care to elaborate on them - what tf are you trading, what tf are you placing entries..etc ?

I figured out that it was struggling to get to S1 which was 133.16 so I bought it since i had been given the "Taf's signal" that the price was going to close above today's open price.
You might ask me why I closed it prematurely then ? The answer is simple .I bought it initially , it gave me 50pips , it came and hit my stop by less than 2 pips , so when I bought it again , I saw it hesitating so I thought it best to get something out of it if it was to do it again

My trades have no time frame to be honest , but I favor 4hrly analysis more than anything.
I will give you a breakdown of my trades today

GBPUSD
Buy 1.58903
Sell 1.59158

This was based on the 4Hrly reversal Signal , i.e the candlestick that started @10:00am GMT on 12-11-2013.
My target was 1.5978 but closed it early when it was hesitating , shouldn't have because it hit my target after all , lol

GBPUSD
Sell 1.59766
Buy 1.59715

This was based on Price action on 15Min , normally those big candlesticks which are against the Daily/4Hrly trends tend to come back at pivot points , so I sold it as R1 which was my initial target when I bought it .I then realised that there was a weekly pivot @ 1.6012 so I panicked and closed it.I was right after all since it went on to hit the weekly pivot.

The hourly uptrend was struggling to continue and USDJPY was hitting resistance @99.76 (Weekly R1) I sold it on the back of USDJPY with a target of S1.Don't ask me why I didn't sell USDJPY then , its more complicated to explain .

Buy 1.34419

This pair is struggling to get past 1.3452 so I thought it would follow EURJPY down and might not come back but I was wrong

I shorted it because I don't think it is going anywhere , that's why I had set a 30pip target .It went within 6 pips of my target and reversed.The other 2 were a joke , more like overconfidence to be honest .I still think its not going anywhere , it's the GBPJPY thats driving it , remember I posted this a few days ago?

This is whats driving EJ , only USDJPY and GBPJPY are going , not EURJPY , it will dance here for probably a couple of days or so.This is what my signals are telling me

You think? This bias will affect your performance because you really never know where it's going and since you think it's not going anywhere, the best course of action is to stand aside, but since you shorted it, you think it will be going down.

You gotta have bias everytime you trade , that's my basic rule , then you look for signals .
I must say that , what ever happens this week, I am disappointed with myself , I have lost my discipline again and its not good , even if I end up winning , can't believe that after 7 weeks of discipline , I just lose it like this , gutted

Looks like i missed the boat on USDJPY. I had a buy order at 99.45, but did not retrace that far. Oh well, I have EJ anyway.

It would have been best if you had GBPJPY , this is the one that's driving all these .It's heading for a new high so the rest are juts following, never mind , this market is not going anywhere.
As for my $$ , you better pay off early coz there is no way I am going down from this position, the bookies payout early sometimes when its all but done, you might as well

I will be true to my words Master Yoda. That's all I have.

As for GBPJPY, i seldom trade that pair to minimize my exposure to British Pound as I trade GU AND GA more frequently.

Its funny and at the same annoying when your TP is not reached by a mere .0001.

My TP for one of the EJ was 134.618 and the high was 134.617 (Pepperstone), then retraced and hit my trailing stop.

That's the market for you , its a joke sometimes .2 things that annoy me
1. That what you mentioned , that's what happened to me with the same pair earlier today
2.When you have an order to open and it comes withing 2 pips and you don't get filled , the market moves 100 pips and you are not in
OR It happens so many times that the next time you think its going to happen , it hits your entry and hits your stop as well , only to reverse and go in your direction

When i'm watching the market and have a pending order, I usually just buy/sell at market when it is within 5 pips of the pending order price. But, yes, it happens once in a while. I am wondering if there is an EA that can perform that, so when i'm not watching the market say pending but order for EU at 1.34 and the price went down as low at 1.3401, but reverses right away, the EA can automatically change the pending order to market order after X move, in which X (a variable) is the number of pips we can define.

If you know or someone knew, please let me know.

Right at the moment you close a trade, it goes up or down your way. I had this last night with GBPAUD, I had a long at 1.7150 and went up to 1.7234 before the retail news. It went down and hit my stop for a gain of just 35 pips, but my TP was above 1.7280. Now, I woke up and saw the price hit my TP. Funny market.
