Long E/U at 1.3495 to hold over weekend. No TP and No SL. Will exit as PA dictates.
Trade taken on H1 oversold and bullish divergence conditions against support.

Just when AUD/NZD started to look like it was going to challenge 1.15 again this half wit comes out and says
RBNZ governor Wheeler says RBNZ may raise rate 200bps by end of 2015 according to the Dominion Post

Right on a support level too on the NZD/USD, only a matter of time before that is broken, we were right at the bottom of the range which has held for quite some time. A nice moving average crossover between the 50sma and the 200sma this trade is becoming an investment more than anything else but patience will get me there!

As for the chart on AUD/NZD it's becoming a mirror image of PA when we were below 1.14. Lets hope this was just a knee jerk reaction and price makes its way back up above the 50% fibo level and resumes upward as for now the NZD looks weak. We still have a bullish divergence on the MACD in AUD/NZD. Patience is the key to this trade

Patience is indeed the key to this trade and I'm still betting on the premise that when the USD bull really kicks in, the Kiwi will get the brunt of that kick in the proverbial balls.

can you explain to me why NZD should be weaker than AUD ?

The fall in AUDNZD has been backed up by interest rate expectations and continues to be so. Just like the RBNZ said, there's a potential to raise rates further in the medium term vs a potential cut further in the AUD rate.

Plus the RBNZ says the currency is just 2% overvalued. Remember when AUD was below 0.9, RBA continued to talk it down by saying it is still overvalued. Just wonder what they think now.

AUD econ data needs to recover strong to (and it has a little bit) change the yield expectations path or RBNZ must withdraw their future rate expections. Both scenarios are, i would say, a surprise ATM.
