Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future performance....things were different in 2008 then in 2009 then in 2011 then it is currently.

Yes I look left on the chart.....but when I try to convince myself that "hey it did this back then...therefore it should do it now..." that is when I get in trouble.

The hardest thing for a trader is to keep and open and flexible mindset.

We are long on the year.

Of all logic any trader should stay with, is stick with the trend, until the end.

However..this being an H4 chart and nobody calling the ole head n shoulder pattern lately, we got some time.

If support holds, we know the possibilities. If it breaks, we know the supports.

Today is no different than any other day, time frame or pair.

It is not to predict. It is to be prepared for things to happen that go agaisnt me so I have a plan to handle it. I have no long positions. I hold shorts on aussie, but I have a plan if it goes up against me, and I do not want to rule out that possibility

See, here's where I disagree. Trend is always about getting in late and buying after price is already high and selling after it's already low. You don't buy a new TV when the price is jacked up you buy it when it's on sale. I always trade countertrend.

Present views , bull still intact & strong with great test for usdx if breaks up & hold 80 or decide the old > towards 70 , keep very low profile in the great recession > back & hold !!

No one should use trendline solely. Trendlines should be combined with other tools. When you see trenedlines meet with a fib level as well as a S/R level, you have confluence, and you enter your trade.

from what I know: trading is highly subjective business, at all

especially when countertrading, isn`t it?

Have trend- and chanel lines that worked for months and years. And when they stop working, so what? In the meantime you get an edge.

Between him and Robert99, or Milam, or whoever that other wanker is, really kind of detracts from the others who'd just get lost in the shuffle and might have something worth reading.
