Looking good for those that went long at the low 97 levels....

Strong fundamentals for a weak JPY given Abe's policies...Plus the anticipation that tapering will need to happen at some point despite some of the 'bad' data we had today. I'm still holding long from low 97 levels and on the ride to the high 98 or 99.2x levels....

My take is that any block to getting to these levels is the FOCM meeting minutes tomorrow. They will either push this higher depending on a 'sooner' than anticipated taper or pull back to the mid 97 level if there is evidence that tapering is a looooong way off.....

Green Pips Everyone .... Strength level is so strong it shot passed 98.1... Next level to watch in my view for another entry for a buy in smaller tf is the reaction around 98.6 area....

Higher TF like H4 D1 and Mth Signifying higher prices like 100 / 104....

Great! To be honest.... this pair've got my full attention to it... filtering news effects for higher tf.... i actually looking at 104.45 / 106 area much more into 118 which i guessed im being crazy and to some others too 'optimistic'....

just that in between the journey, its never in a line.... there're alot levels to watch for possible reversals retracements which may influence my bias...

very well could I will caution you looking at 4 hour u have series of higher highs and higher lows

Hello US/JPY

A bit off ping pong going on

EUR/US reloading,needs to drag in the punters to load up there longs.

My long bus is full of US/JPY to 104 + also

Holding YEN longs is a bit like owning a bucket with a hole in it,

Taking profit now to lighten the load.

Could sneak back towards 97 again

I will add more small longs:nerd:

Maybe the most important chart - 10y yield. There's up trend looking at 1 year chart and it's above 200 sma. The other chart says that yields are at the bottom looking back to 1790 and there's much room for upside than opposite. One concern : due to weak housing recovery which is the main concern of the FED I think, tapering could be postponed for later in 2014 or even further (less likely but who knows) because sharp rising of the rates could kill any recovery here...and that's not good for UJ. Anyway I'm staying on the bullish side, monthly chart at UJ is looking pretty bullish to me.

I think the main push for this pair might not be coming from US itself although no doubt US effects may contribute to this pair on the upwards/downwards swing by in an 'uptrend' on USD/JPY... Instead im rather expecting the more to come from Japan....

One thing, we've been focusing on the US economy, but on the other part the push factors from the other economy might be the ones in relation...

Just my view....

Could you really wait for two months? I do not see 104 till next month time
