hmm.. guys.. I suspect people are leaning on the 1.3750 bids, as soon as those get fill, that will go away and it will tank.

I didn't say it was the holy grail, just that its an integral part to trading imo. I don't consider it a "small part" either, it's a crucial part. If you can't think about trades and risk as a % of your equity, it's going to be very very hard to manage your risk. Hell, it's probably impossible to do so...unless you rely solely on luck.

But yeah, it's not the holy grail...but nothing is

yes ur right but my feeling is,rather than sticking to what the book teaches one should develop their own mm principle according to ones own temperament and mood and stick to them.i know its more trial and error but at the end u will have mm which is more robust and according to one temperament.and u will follow it becos these principle are ur own.thank you

yeah, well, you canīt avoid such situations in trading, you usually never know when someone farts into this or the other direction.

Thatīs why we use stoploss and proper risk management so it doesnīt hurt that much
