Something fishy is going on!

price has been knocked down and volume has increased on the lows. Anticipating bad US Data.

Could this be that they are getting better prices for their long on gold thus weakening the US dollar vs the other pairs

AU Closed my short trade

This is my big boy trade. I made a slight profit of 411 points.

I just don't trust what i'm seeing with gold getting hammered down down with high volume and then at the lows volume increasing. Bullish signals

Marvas look at the chart, what the price tells you?

1. High volume on down bar, besides it has a huge wick. Remember that STRENGTH appears on a DOWN bar.
2. Price came to test the previous are again, area where that high volume appeared. And what you see now? Volume is higher than the previous bars and candle has a big wick again. Another sign of strength, buyers show theyself more and more.
3. What happened after testing? Bull candle closes above the previous one - another sign of strength. Good place for entry.

EJ, Dollar Pairs, and Market in General

So, EJ is taken back to top of range, a whopping 60ish pips range today. This is still bearish because this is not a bull move. The move was quick and decisive and with equally high volumes up and at the top as for going down earlier today. One can conclude the entire range is being used for building. This is in a state of Distribution, imho.

USD "news" good? Bad? And what difference does it make, because the market big wigs already knew what was coming. The xxxUSD pairs did not move down to support "good", nor up to support "not good". These pairs are also bearish, and the market is holding a tight leash as it lets the PA fade away from the former bullish state.

So, again imho, what we have here is a market where the prices are duly controlled by the Big Boys who are simply being opportunistic. so, for example, if something has been long time bullish, but waning at the highs, the market is certainly not going to let it fall on a day like today. It better serves to range or re-hike, because both actions allow wrong side money to make it's mistake and give the opportunistic price controllers the liquidity needed to continue to build for future reversals, that will come at their time and choosing.

Gold.....

Look at H1 and see the spikes up in the topping PA. That is longs closing and shorts opening,.....selling. This was with notable volumes, too. Following this selling at the highs, the price continued to drop on heavy selling. Did buyers come in to stop the drop on high volume? Or, did some opportunistic shorters close some of their shorts for profit? Look at what happened next. The price went back up on increasing volume. This indicates higher prices are now favored, that the opportunistic price movers are simply hiking the price for the resumption of heavy shorting. This PA indicates the market is bearish.

Now, look at the Week chart. Kinda looks like the MMs have constructed a nicely wide sandbox to play in with the prices, as they continue to Distribute. Any pause in downwards movement, yes even upwards moves, might only be considered necessary by the MMs in order to allow wrong side money to come in and make it's mistake so the MMs can have renewed liquidity for selling. Just an opinion.

Indeed it was a candle getting more strongly bearish, one that looked to just be getting started and that needed more bearish PA for confirmation (this point was stated in earlier posts on EU and EJ). What I stated in the last EJ post is valid. We just cannot know what sudden price manipulations the MMs will cause. This is bearish, still bearish, and today proved nothing except that the bears are opportunistic by taking the day to rehike the price to where they want it for resumed shorting. The price could just as easily have taken a quick hike for loading of more shorts and then gone further down. We don't know what the MMs have planned for PA, but up to that point in time the price action was turning quite bearish.

As I see it, the MMs were opportunistic on all pairs today. EJ has been treated no differently than any other pair. The thing to do is to ignore today's PA on all pairs as being anything but opportunistic as a part of a bigger picture. Just my opinion.

Here it is! This is the pull back to/into/thru the Dragon on notable volume that indicates the bulls are in control and are being opportunistic with prices, dropping them in order to add longs at move favorable prices! The MMs have not promoted serious moves today on any pair. Across the board, they have only taken the day to be opportunistic and build larger before such moves come.

Hello, does anybody trade classic sonic setups? I was making nice profits for one and a half month but now iam losing almost every trade. I try to find the best setups for every entry but it looks like it stopped work. Can anyone give me an advice?
