for the potential of a nice trend trade. Try to
get the tdi & guppy's to line up for the high %'s trades.

Hello and Good Morning from Austria, Guys !

I am a newcomer in Forex trading and I found this forum very interesting. I am a software engineer for Plc_Controls.
5 years ago I bought a training course 2008 for € 3000 and 2012 I started to watch this 10 DVDs. The information is excellent and all basics for traiding are worked out very well and so with a friend who has 10 years expirience in trading and I started with an account by Oanda with €5000 and left him the responsibility for my account while I watched hm traiding.
The first 3 weeks amazing results (end of 2012) until starting 2013 he decides to go always short -> 3 or four trades and the account was empty, because he did'nt set stops and so every trade costs the half account.
Its my debt, because I knew how to set stops, but he told me, have confidence anw wait but..

So now then 1 loaded 200 € and I tried to trade on myself with the basics.
Sometime with success, but most failed, because when I choosed the wrong direction, I throw my nerves and shut the trade.
So I decided a few weeks ago to make develope an autotrader with basic on Moving averages 10 and 25 inthe 5 min chart and this tool is not doing so bad.
In the backtest (MT4) I checked the profit over the months January until now, but the results ervery month are different, but not so bad. I made sells adn buys.
I work on a demo account always with one Lot and in February the profit was nearly €3500 and in March - € 500 and other months equal.
Then I realized the trend was important and in February the trend of thy daychart was short and in September the trend was Long and when I set up the right direction I got more success than traiding in both directions.
Ok, thats my story and now I found this thread with the TDI, what seems to me very clear and I added the TDI to checkup the entries into the market as yyou discribed in this thread.
And I saw, this is a really good projection how to trade and I will implement this into my autotrader.
My first projection as I started with my autotrader software is to catch the crossings of the 10 and 25 MA and set 0.01 Lot and wait, until the pips are growing until xx (parameter) and then set 1 Lot , with Stoploss and trailing stop and wait for crossing then 10 and 25 into the other direction and also some special conditions to close the trades.
This is working not so bad, but with the condition to setup the big amount I am not satisfied, because most trades are turning into the other direction aftre 10..20 pips when I setup the big one and this brings losses of money, not so big but mostly 30 to 150 € each false trade and when there are not big moves in the market, the losses are more than the gains.

So I will beg you guys to give me the information of your traiding way and I will try to implement it into my autotrader and share it with you.
Maybe you have some good examples for me. Where can I download the videos and pdf in this thread ?

I am aware that I never cannot develope an autotrader that is working always with success, it is not possible, but I think, when I can catch 60-70 % of the trades with good profit that is the goal. Also I am impressed that you guys go to sleep (eelfranz) and wake up with a successfully trade.

So please guys help me and supply me with information

Gbp/Usd Short

I have taken the following trade. Reasons for trade

1. In downtrend on 4 hr chart. Price has closed a LL. MBL confirms.
2. On 1 hr price has retraced to previous support turned resistance, which also coincides with 38% Fib.
3. ABCD if confirmed indicates a target of 1.60148
4. TDI cross confirmed on 15 min time frame

Initial SL 21 pips with 1st target at 24 pips, and second target not yet decided.Will aim for around 1:3 on the 2nd part.

Edit** Update. 1st price target reached, 2nd target reached, but i got taken out at BE. Money management is a real challenge!!

Ongoing trade... looking for 45-50ish pips, SL is at b/e. This week started off bad with 2 ~15 pip SL's, this trade is at around 30, and I'm hoping for another 10-15 pips before I close...

I'm in that trade too, including CHF, GBP, USD and CAD/JPY as well. Previously I had put buy stop orders on all and about 20 min later saw them triggered.

Made tighter S/L's, that's around 30+ pips per pair, so 150+ for all. Pretty good for a day, even better for a rookie!

Trades closed EJ for 37 pips price fail to break below 134.28 with divergences!

GJ closed for 96 pips, sold at the reject of 50% and manage to get back to 0! Was looking for a TP 155.80 but same as the EJ couldn't break lower....

I am also still short EU, GU, AU and AJ on 4 hour!
