USD/JPY Notice yesterdays Day candle and today's activity. Signs of strong weakness and bulls run for profit is near. {image}
Price ranged 2 days and then suddenly break through and then right away came back to the range are again. This called manipulation. All herds jumped to trade and start to sell, but look what the smart money did. They just brought the price to the range area and most of herds are out now. Perfect manipulation.
Now look at the Daily chart. What the candles tells you? Last candle didn't close below the previous, it closed at the same level. Besides it's some doji there, candle has no body. All those are strong signs of STRENGTH.
Whatever is obvious is obviously wrong!"

The question is, which is the next real support level it will encounter. There are various half and whole numbers below the current price that align with previous reversal areas. There are at least eleven of them over the next 600 pips lower. Any one of them could turn out to be the next real support area.
There is never any way of telling which of past support/resistance (or demand/supply) areas will next be effective. We can only be aware of them as potential targets in price movement. When price reaches such a level the price might ignore it and continue, the price might pause for consolidation (more building) before continuing on, the price might pause for consolidation (closing and reverse building) before reversing, or the price might make a mighty bounce without warning.
We should see these areas for what they are, areas the price may well next arrive at after leaving a previous area. That is all they are good for, just possible targets, because there is no way of knowing what will happen IF the price next reaches one of them.
