In those days I met a trader couple (Husband and only one wife). They travel around the world and buy or sell whatever they could if its either too low or too high in a country. They were in New York and bought the index when it was near 6000/7000. They told me that Euro will be a good buy at 1.0000, later it hit 1.1800.

Net short on EURUSD.

Hedge is denominated in NZD so bought EURNZD as a hedge to both.

I also sold NZDUSD to offset the outstanding trades denominated in NZD for the hedge balance

Now out of EURNZD and won't touch it for a while..

Suppose there is no spread, you keep on buying every pip it goes up and sell every pip it goes down. If it ends higher or lower from the point you started, will you gain, lose or break-even?
