Hi there!! two trades this morning, EU +30 and GU +40. The entry was not so dificult, in EU as I live in Spain and I was sleeping when tdi green crossed red, I entered after price got above yesterday's high. In GU entered when red crossed yellow and price got above ema200.
The problem for me is that I always find it hard when to exit. I've missed 30 pips in EU and 40 in GU due to early exit. In EU I exited at RN 1.36, I didn't expected price to go that high as we already had overtaken the ADR. In GU exited at Yesterday's high, also for the same reason, the daily range was already above it's average.....

One thing that I want to ask to phx62, or anybody else is that for example today we've had two good examples of LO breaking the high of the Asia Session, but I don't know if that depends or not in the range of this Asia Session.... for example, many days we have a range during Asia Session of 25-35 pips, so in fact it's "normal" that during the LO we go above or below that range, but I don't know if that applies to days with high ranges in the Asia Session.... I'm talking about EU and GU.
I also don't know if this "theory" applies to other pairs like Jen pairs for example, as in this pairs the range of Asia session is normally higher....

Good morning N/Y open,

Normally I sleep through this hole thing, but last night
I watched each and every pip. It was like watching paint dry.

Anyway, what I see is the guppy's were pretty strong.
If you watched the tdi and guppy's on the 4 hour & daily
their was no reason to liquidate.

It hit the round #'s exactly...it's pretty uncanny.

Took this trade, I think I needed pain killer to go through the pain that was associated with the draw down of -25 pips, PA reached entry point for 3 times and didn't initiated a move up, so closed it at BE before US news, had analysis both US and GU, but my analysis for both was to short , didn't have a plan B for long so ended taken EUR/JPY

What made me stay in the trade was this convergence red zone below my entry

Pretty good day today for me. Two trades, eu +50, gu +115
Entered in asia session, eu was already at BE when I went to bed.
If I were awake when price approached TP , I might have moved it further up.
I am attaching eu D1 chart as well to show what I saw.

I would have not go short on ej, for reasons I am showing on D1.
I would've waited for a long setup.
H1 had a deeper pullback, but still in uptrend with HH and HL

looking for a setup on EURAUD H1.

1) TDI turning down and crossing signal line.
2) Downtrend - candles below 50 ema wave.
3) Looking for a short entry to go with trend.
4) Look to enter below the RED line just below the inside bar (IB).

Due to the US Congress reaching an agreement to temporarily fund the government and stop the shutdown, I concentrated on trading US pairs today. It took some patience but both trades paid off handsomely!!!!
I entered the EU H1 trade on the LO candle as it broke above Yesterdays high and above the previous candle. The 1st two candles were strong, so I moved my SL +10 and my TP to 100. It took almost 8 hours to reach the TP but it finally made it.
I entered the GU H1 trade on the LO candle also, as it broke above the 200 EMA and the previous candle. TDI was in line to bounce with green over red over yellow. Again the first two candles were strong so I moved SL and TP the same as the EU trade. When I woke up to check the trades, I decided to lock in more profit and move the TP on this trade to 150, since GU usually moves more during news and world events. Price missed that TP by 2 pips. Closed it manually at 136 because I was going to work and did not want to lose anymore pips. Price might still go the TP but I am out of both trades with 236 pips total.....a very good day.

Hello Snarlyjack, fellow trader friends here.

quick question here. can i check with the
exit strategy?

is it any of the below criteria?

1. TDI green hook/flat/uptick ?
2. upper / lower bollinger band touched for the main window? what about when the tdi bank touched?
3. round number?

is exit rules are any of the 3 above?

my question is even though we might hit upper or lower band of BB, it's still trending strong... should i just exit?
