I can hardly see a point in stacking 4 positions in a 5 pips range, but itīs your call.

yes you are right, the first 4 went against me, I thought 3504 would hold despite the strength but it did not, but I knew that could be the case knowing also that there was strong support below. If price would get there I would buy the same amount to cover most of my losses of 3504, which it did.

At that point I felt 3504 was still at play and set my tp @ 3530 with my first lots, it played nicely, a bit of luck of course, but it favours the braves.

Forex cube does it every time and he is one of the best in town about scalping.

Personally I feel the pulse, not easy to describe tough, in this trade I knew there was a lot of madness involved, I bought one at my level and it felt good and I bought more and still felt good and...... but it went against me, still it felt good....below I did the same, this time it just did not feel good, I was sure..

This trick works when you have different targets. You could take out some positions once you reach a certain zone and leave others to continue running. If it was only one larger position he would have only once chance to exit the position.

It's a matter of building confidence in the position as time passes.

Sometimes it's a scalp, sometimes it's a keeper, but a 5 pip range is rather small.

How do I do that on MT4??

Say for example I was long at 3480 and my size is 0.2 Lot. Now this is one position okay? Now say we hit 3530 and i feel like closing 0.1 and letting another 0.1 run. This is why I some times prefer to open TWO positions of 0.1 each to make a 0.2 total.

One other scenario where I prefer to enter a position in many smaller positions instead of one larger one

I also do this when my overall sentiment is long but I am stuck between deciding whether to go long at 3480 or wait for 3460 only for it to reverse to 3530 after you have watched for 12 hours. I would add smaller longs as I near my optimal entry of 3420.

I believe it won't be that easy.It also looks like a top for me but top consolidation formation is not completed yet.I would expect a pullback , a squeeze between red lines and then a drop.White circles would be what I 'd try to catch.
