I know, I do keep my open orders visible though. It is mainly for me to analyse my performance over time and it has certainly helped, it saves me working everything out...which is just too much hard work

Was waiting for HH at and above 1.418. Even with 100 pips stops are still worth the risk. The last drop netted +495 pips. The positive swaps are not bad at all for holding over a week. Keep an eye on it but need to watch U/CAD and E/U at the same time.

Okay, I mis-read, you made that statement in two different ways.

I understand your intention of going through your trades afterwards with the help of the explorer, but you should be able to drop that habit by having a plan for your trade in advance. If your plan fails, given you followed the rules of your trading-plan and money-management, it's completely unnecessary to analyze, why the trade failed. Better double your efforts to justify any given trade in advance.

Mr Moderator? yeah I did change it, didn't want it to come across the wrong way.

I understand what you're saying but I feel it is beneficial to me to have something like myfxbook, mainly so I can see actual percentage growth (graphs are always nice) along with how many positions I've been in, the amount of pips, etc, it just saves me time - thats the main one.

Each to their own

Edit, I also have a thing for stats, there's another reason.

I get all those advantages you mention about going public by a daily email and a monthly statement by my brokers.
To each their own, I could say, but I think this 'transparency-movement' that's taking place recently is bullshit and does way more harm than anything else.

The Cold War has come to an end when the former USSR declared an end to rearmament. Then we got the new enemy after 9/11... but that somehow sucks aswell to spend billions of tax-payers money, for people started way earlier to doubt the stories we got told over and over again. Even earlier than people started doubting Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy, think of that.
The next step are Asteroids that threaten to extinguish all life on earth by impact... I still wonder what's so bad about it... it's quite quick.
NASA is needed.
