CRAP! US govt shutdown, no tapering, bad ADP, EZ recovering blah blah blah.... all big news against USD
Why ppl still likes USD, they like only sell in my point of view

I already gave up. Only question is whether I get a SL or not. If it gets back to 1.3520 I'm out. I'll look for a better entry next week or whenever. Apparently a trend rule that works to be loosened with the major trend doesnt work so good against it. Oh well. Now I can only hope I'm spared a SL somehow- SL is at 3620.

most traders (including many oldies here) feel "comfortable to going against trend and shorting, instead of shorting for 30/40p if we stick with larger trend we could have banked 100s of p

when prices go higher it's like high building and think if long there it will fall like hard rock

All I can give you is a peek at retail stops on both sides through one broker. My feed packed up a few hours ago. Red dots represent sell stops. Green - buy stops.

But bulk of stops to the upside sits @ 1.3630 ( 1640 stops) and 1.3650 ( 1173 stops) - long stops are few on the data I had when the feed packed up.

Well, Lets just say that buying at these levels are not that comfortable. (The Euro is trading at 7 monthly highly) My personal opinion or what i can see that the path of least resistance for the Euro is bullish - hands off , but there are alarming signs that makes me not a big believer. Gold, sliver and stock indexes are not following the Euro bullishness party.

im not bias at all we got to this level for a reason. Not sure how your short bias did in september but im assuming not good. One has to think what big players will do and obviously anything can happen but dollar looks horrible right now not to mention all the support levels your 300 move has to grind through. Gl to your eu shorts...

i trade from bigger picture...nothing look bearish right now but traders problem is we try to look for bulls in bear market and bear in bull market...follow the trend.

And you really think that USA is dead? I wonder do I have to laugh or cry. Almost everybody here goes around proclaiming that famous US shutdown, do you really think it's shut down?
I wonder if it has shutdown why EU and GU find so hard time climbing up...if shutdown image what happens when it opens, because there is no 'if' but when, if I stick to all of you proclaiming that US shutdown.

ADP is better than last month, the fact that it is not as expected by FF does not mean it is bad. $ is the major trading currency, almost any existing currency is paired with USD. Sometimes governments needs week currency, then they need strong currency, it's natural. News and forecast is worse for EUR and GBP, let's see where it goes this month.
