Why is going up?

bearish usd and technical reversal of inmediate trend

Im also getting a bullish movement for the AUD/USD pair with a capital A/B boundary at (A - .9115 / B - .9388) with a C bounce at the 38.2 giving a projection to at least .9556 (1.618 D extension). Also the sub ABCD reached its C retracement at the 38.2 (0.9378 price level) and is expected to extend to .9526 further ensuring the movement of the capital ABCD's. Also the stochastic daily graph is showing oversold position currently which could be another signal of an upcoming uptrend.

So lets review:
Capital ABCD - 38.2 bounce to 1.618 extension
Sub ABCD - 38.2 bounce to 1.618 extension
Stochastic RSI - Oversold and U-turning

3 for 3 that the pair is bullish

I included the chart so you can can visually see what im talking about.

Also how can i forget to mention that it broke the downtrend line

Bearish...Let's see who's right.;-)

Bias is bullish to me but a better entry would be 9350 and thats where I'll be waiting

To certain degree everyone is right ...I will wait better entry either up or down...

It is kind of messy today

In the long run, I see how the people looking for parity might get it, but not this year if you ask me...
We'll be consolidating for a bit, US gov will resolve shutdown sooner or later (rather sooner though), Fed will taper off and RBA will act to get the lower ozzy they want (if it doesn't get there without them).
That's all important stuff happening soon, and all will push AUD/USD down.....

But I'd love to see the other side of the story. For every seller there's a buyer. I just wish everyone here no stress and positive returns.

i agree with you if i was trading a weekly, but than again how many of us are actually trading weekly charts

Hello Traders-
I see many good arguments/charts for the AUD/USD to go either way. I think if we all want to beat the bastard market, then we need to recognize and qualify our arguments/charts for a window of time to mitigate the confusion and increase the clarity of successful trades. My arguments/charts show an uptrend in the short term(as in today) but agree with downtrend in the longer term(beginning tomorow or???) till ???


The question and challenge is how could we create a simple system to decipher short term trades from long term trades?

I use 5 min,1 hour,4 hour and daily charts. Perhaps we qualify our summation views as short term and long term based on the charts we are using?

Any ideas to unite and strengthen the participants here are welcome and appreciated!
