I trade mostly 4H swing and I use volatility based stop which is usually 2xATR(10) on H4. Study the Chandelier Exit concept.
I use position sizing and scale-in and scale-out.
I need to see a minimum R:r potential of 1:1.5 or else I don't take the trade.

good, you are not new to trading and you know TMS...,

you go back an read my post 25,648 which I refer to your GU trade yesterday.

price action traders trading intraday on H1 will understand that easily.

the same for you EJ trade when NYO today.

You need to be on a micro account with the small amount of money you have. I was looking through your trades and you are putting on some trades of $1 per pip sometimes $2 because there are 2 separate trades going in at the same time at roughly the same price. Do yourself a favour, get a micro account and divide the amount of funds you have by 1000 and trade that amount per pip. If you have for instance $100 put a trade on with a maximum 10 cents per pip. Just because you can use 1:888 leverage doesn't mean you have to use it!

"A TDI Green PL cross Red TSL is only confirmed after that price bar/candle closed and that depends on the overall Price Action of the price bars/candles before that.

Look at the size of the price bars/candles.

My advice is to trade the Price Action and let the TDI confirms the Price Action.

For study purposes, take a screen shot of your chart few seconds before the price bar/candle closes and take another screen shot second after that price bar/candle closed."

Regarding your second question (Do you mind to explain what do you mean by ...." seller positions must manage to hold") see my post on page 24,940 where I have taken examples that Emmanuel has kindly posted regarding trade management and compiled it into a PDF (one of many PDFs now compiled on very helpful examples Emmanuel has kindly taken the time to explain to everyone in this forum....please bear in mind that not all of the examples Emmanuel has posted in this thread are there but a lot are as well as a lot of other helpful information)


If there is one piece of advice I could give to all the new guys here on TMS (less than 1 year trading TMS profitably) that have yet to commence there system development (please bear in mind mike that the rest of this post is not directed at you or anyone in particular) is to read what Emmanuel has posted and categorize Emanuel's posts into a document under specific headings as you will learn so much and realise the amount of time and effort Emmanuel has put into help us all on this thread.

I say this because we all see the same questions on here over and over again when it is clear that people are jumping feet first into TMS (with out checking the depth of the pool)

In a way we owe (as much as Emmanuel would probably believe we don't owe him nothing (my assumption of his good & kind nature)) it to Emmanuel to do this from start to finish if you are serious about learning TMS using PASR.

More importantly we as traders owe it to ourselves if we want to be consistent and profitable traders. So I would ask who ever is reading this (if they are new(ish)) to using TMS and have yet to develop a system whether you 1) want to be consistent and profitable or 2) do you want to make fast money and loose this money as fast as you can earn it.

If your answer is point number 1 then I would urge you to read this thread from start to finish, categorize the posts from Emmanuel into your own trading journal and use this as a platform to build your system if you BELIEVE in TMS using PASR.

Now the newer guys are probably saying "this will take soooooo long. I don't need to do this. I can just start straight away."

Well you can...there is no one stopping you from doing this - only yourself.

But I can guarantee you will go round in circles and miss the gems as well as hidden nuggets Emmanuel explains to us on a weekly basis (sorry to pick out examples but the member gsbharaj is a perfect example of getting lost in the giant of a thread that TMS is on FF to the point where he wants to quite using this system...instead what people should do when they find themselves in this frame of mind is ask themselves whether you are willing to put in the time, effort and patience).

I myself was in this predicament not so long ago and decided to trawl through each and every post by Emmanuel (this is no easy task when you work around 12 hours a day).

It took up a word document over 1,377 pages long with over 196,133 words. I have now condensed this into my own notes using Emmanuel's posts as guidance to categories them into a 300 page document with around 40,000 words (some of this material i have posted in PDF format into this thread)

Now I am currently refining my system using Emmanuel's posts as guidance and references.

Essentially what I am saying is that there is no short cuts to learning TMS using PASR if you are serious about it and want to reach the top of the steps of TMS mastery in image number one (below) but you need to build your system like image number 2 and realize that there is a lot more to this than just simple TDI crosses (The TMS strategy is the tip of the iceberg....essentially our trading strategy (e.g. entries & Exits))

Yes, for H4 chart timeframe, you are correct that different broker price will show different candle patterns even those which use GMT+0 as their server time.
When you have a different server time like GMT+2 or GMT+3, there will be other price bar/candlestick patterns which show the same market sentiments.
Therefore for consistency of all discussions in this thread, I use GMT+0 server time and price data from interbank fx.

Now I see UJ has H4 DIB and a good potential for another big move for this week with a R of about 60 pips. But early entry will get in with much smaller R, ... hence bigger R:R.

Yesterday' 1st Oct D candle is a Shooting Star SS ....so today open, scalpers go short.

But that SS does not mean reversal as yet.

TDI levels 75 and 25:

I recall someone asked about these two TDI levels.

When market is strong trending, the TDI will reach these levels.
When the price action and the TDI shows a divergence, the possibility of a major correction then into a reversal is usually very good.

Study the price action on the price chart and relate that to the TDI levels below.
Look for support and resistance on the price chart and at which TDI levels do these S&R occurs.
History repeats itself because Bulls and Bears are animals, and animals have feeding patterns. Hence we trade price and chart patterns.

Now go look at GU D chart and stalk the market.

Here is an update from my GU trade yesterday. Yesterday evening as I went to bed, I closed half the position + 41 and put in an 20 pips trailing stop Price was stalling above the 50% fib and the turning point of the abc pattern. This morning the SL + 52 was hit. Wait and see to reenter.
