edit: nevermind, i see that certain brokers support market depth w MT4.. although, arguably & rhetorically, is that representative of the market itself? meh.

futures are transparent. i can see all orders as they are executed. order flow is incredibly important for price traders (ie no indicators)

You can see big time orders on a chart without indicators and without a price ladder. Price ladders are great but when there's access to the direct market people play a lot of games with those too as far as making and pulling fake orders.

Im mobile driving from bordeaux airport but i will definately chime in on this discussion later. With the topping formation now completed, Im also looking alot lower! Im fully aware. notwithstanding, I'm talking about execution not just the bid ask ladder. Plus how can you quantify from chart market depth? How many bids absorbed that 1000 short on 10y?

You don't quantify it. You just know there's a lot of buying or selling going on there.
