You enter on false signals because you focus on the signal, and disregard the bigger picture - price structure. Every system on forexfactory has a strict set of rules, put together as a "trigger" to enter a trade. There isn't a system that can analyse the market conditions for you, except for using your own eyes and brain and focusing on price structure. History repeats itself, market participants start to disagree on the price of a given good - they either feel it's too expensive or too cheap. Either way, they start selling or buying, which creates in turn a trend. Then, at some point there is agreement on the current level that price has reached, and price consolidates at that level for some time (pa moves sideways)... But then, at some point there's disagreement on price once again: a breakout occurs. I'm putting this in a very blunt way, I could go in much more detail, but you need to do your own research until it makes sense to you.

That's one of the many things you need to know if you want to be a trend trader. What TMS is teaching you, is to find the most perfect entry possible while staying stress-free. We look at a couple of setups that tend to occur quite often, if you look closely most times you're just trading a breakout... You can't know where PA will head next, there is no way of predicting future PA (and I say this while knowing fully well almost everyone here trades using ABCD, 123 patterns and such). What you can be confident about, is that when you have a structure that ressembles that of a consolidation, taking a trade at the break of the previous highs or lows can and most times will yield profit.

Excellent idea ... I LIKE.

Do not forget other CSP too, not to be distracted by just looking for MC next week.

Other CSP = BEEB, BUEB are also good momentum CS to join in the market.

Not forgetting that we have only one trading day left for the month of September, then a new MN candle starts.

Is that right that you ignore signals at this time ?

AU week 39 trade update:

Here is a quick update of the AU trade taken last week.

I held this trade over the weekend as I had one position protected at BE. The other position I took profit +30pips as posted earlier.

We shall see how today will close as the MN candle but the breakout out of the D1 master candle is a positive sign to hold on to this trade. We may see a D trend reversal to the downside but it is still too early and that may take a few more days to confirm if there would be a bearish reversal.

Taking a look at the higher timeframe Weekly, Daily and H4 will help in deciding the longer term trend direction.

1. My primary trade times are the first 3 hours of the London session.
2. Sometimes I will also continue on with trades entered earlier, thru the end of the London session.
3. I sometimes take scalp trades during the Asian session.
4. I do not like to trade during news in the NY session. Sometimes I will trade after news if I have a confirmed direction.

For practice,
go to Monthly chart and zoom out to see the history all the way back to 2008.
Do you see we are now trading in the wide range sideways like in 2009.
There are no MN swing levels in 2010, 2011 and 2012 we can play with.
We can count on the support of Jan, Feb, Mar and April of 2010 when EJ retraces down further, but I have doubt it will go that far down. The three men from Japan won't let that happen in the last quarter of this year.
I am prepared for a choppy weeks ahead but more to the Upside and hitting the high of 2009.
We can count on TMS to lead the way in our trading.

And to keep things simple for 4H trading, just use the 50 and 200 EMAs and dynamic support and resistance, and also the RN 00,25,50 and 75 levels. Look for consolidation then trade the breakouts. Use money management strategy to win and win big.

When you have specific questions, for example what the acronyms we use here in this thread, please ask specifically each one as you come across them.

If you do not use MT4 as trading platform, you can tell us which trading platform you trade with. There are many helpful members here who will be here to help you.
