Minor news in my opinion.
Much more important is
US braces for possible government shutdown
This could significantly weaken the dollar. I will start shorting starting from 1.37
I had a dinner with very prominent economist with 72 others.Speaker who is connected to Washington gave very insightful 1hr speech.He went very detailed about US growth or lack of it.He explained that Feds fear of backing off QE reduction main reason being interest rate jump of 100% in one month instead of anticipation in 1yr.Too fast too soon and their fear was that would of killed any hope of recovery.
In nut shell next 12 months expect very little growth.
In trading, you have to be defensive and aggressive at the same time

They have done this for 45 years now, It's just another year....IMO

This market is so versatile that people look for edges in countless ways. We like it or not, weekend gap trading is one of these. I don't think there is any harm in discussing possibility of a gap over this weekend or any other.

I don't say there will or not be a gap over this weekend, but curious in knowing if Italian news negatively affects Euro to which level it can push it down. I have two levels 1.3450 and 1.3380.

It is far better to have several small positions than a single big one. Watch how big players place their bets. You can clearly see that on your charts. See how euro moves either in opposite direction or halts when gold moves towards a support or resistance. They place their bets in anticipation of what they expect at these levels. For example if 1300 is a major support/resistance for gold and pa moves down towards this level, let's say from 1320, euro breaks the correlation and starts moving up because traders expect gold to bounce up from this level (1300). In other words, enter in a second trade when first one is secured.
