Hey guyz, u trade all days? (Checking every 4hrs candles)? Or only from Tuesday-Thursday? (sorry for my english).

This system works very well. I've done a couple of profitable trades by adding in the following factors (note, this may not be totally effective, but it did help me increase my success rate with this system) :

Trading time frame : 4H

1) I go to any time frame above 4H to 1 day and look for at least 25 periods of bullish ichimoku cloud
2) I ensure at least past 10 periods of that time frame has Aroon Oscillator of above 50
3) I ensure that on current 4H time frame Aroon Oscillator is above 50 for the past 5 periods at least

Then I long a trade the moment TDI tells me too.

Yup, that's about it, filters out a lot of the noise. Just read about the Master Candle here and I'll see if I can successfully incorporate it into my strategy, haha.

is there any way i can get tdi to show whats happening on h4 while on the m15 timeframe without switching the charts?

Hello everyone, took this trade the day before yesterday and it carried on into the following day. I wish i would have stuck with it, but i chickened out when price reached 1.13000 and i was also at work so i couldn't watch how price would react around this area. I took this trade because price had obviously hit resistance and the momentum was picking up. I didnt enter when the TDI first crossed over because the first few candles that turned red were indecisive and i dont take trades based on the TDI only. The way i trade this system is i usually look for TDI crosses or bounces, then if there is good PA to support it i take the trade. To me this was a high probability trade, what do you guys think? +37 pips.

Trading needs patience , I tried to change the strategy for 2 times, but its not because of the strategy, its because of us, we think after we face obstacles is that the strategy might be the problem, some sort of self defensive behavior, our minds are programmed in such ways, this strategy is very easy for Pros why, because they had to go through pains and years before getting to where they are now, so how would I take a shortcut and be the super trader I want to be without going for the same way pros have gone to reach where they are?

Even if you want to change the strategy , don't dump it all together, you see changes come gradually, what I mean is stay with the strategy and keep your option wide open, trade this strategy even if you find another one, shift gradually only if you find an edge with your new adventure then you can say goodbye to you old methodology

I'm here almost a year now, do I trade profitably , NO, would I change the methodology, hell no, even tho I use another methodology but I cant shift to the other methodology, why? because I started something and I must finish it or else I might call my self a failure and in trading this is something you don't want o think about, in trading its I can do only

BUT after a year of trading , I guess I'm starting to be on the right side, and still hard working all day long trying to learn Price Action and trading TMS, day in day out learning every piece possible that might help, back testing like mad, searching for high probability candle stick pattern that repeat them selves , timing of the trades, whatsoever ....

How long would it take me to reach my ultimate goal dose not matter, what matter most is that I am in great thread with lots of Pros that want to see us successful and profitable, now we have to do the the work in order to see positive results and be grateful for all the members that work hard to keep this thread ALIVE!

you can open 2 time frames windows side by side , I myself open H1 and M15

My new strategy for taking trades is looking at Daily first to determine the bias is long or short for the day, and investigate the price action in daily time frame, candle patterns

Checking TDI locations, ie above 50 middle line and MBL yellow line or below

Then doing the same on H4 since I trade the H1

Before I take the trade

I check the daily candle, 4H candle, H1 candle which is my entry time frame

Then for taking trades and entering on the best price possible to minimize draw down after entry , I look at M15 and M5 and investigate the price action and candle pattern especially the M5

Then only initiate the trade on the H1, I started this only from last week so still new on that and still forward testing to see if this really helps

this strategy is not bad at all. but the thing is i have always entered on false signal. thanks heispark for the link to the forum. i just need more confirmation. i have updated my strategy and added TMS which can show the crossovers on all the hours. i backtested it and it seems to be useful. lets see.
well the same strategy that works for someone doesn't need to work for the other. so, i am just making a strategy which can be according to my needs.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but i don't think it would change a thing .. Jumping from one method to another .. www.protradernetwork.com watch all of the videos and you will understand You didn't put enough effort into it, changing parameters every day/week without proper back-test .. My eyes opened
Stick to it, do the work, TMS is great

That is actually a very good strategy. I agree on confirming not only your trading time frame, but the overall ones like h4 and daily too. Trades might take a little longer to setup, but when they do they are most often successful

Follow the Price trend and also the TDI trend ... until the TDI reaches to the 32-level and see if the is support which would be the better exit ..for swing trading.

where is your current breakeven price level based on your open positions?

will you be prepared to add more sell positions when price move further up to 1.3610 and deal with the drawdown?

I never do with the H4 strategy I'm working with now (TMS). I don't want to take the risk that price will jump drastically when the market re-opens. Look what happened at the open on Sep 15. Would you and your account be able to take the hit if you were on the wrong side of that gap? I moved away from options trading to Forex so I could avoid the massive swings during non-trading hours.

You could close your trades before the weekend's market close and reopen in a similar position the following week if your trade conditions are still valid.
