Compared the two economys(USA and Japan) i think the Japan is doing bad with no good perspectives for the future

The Yen is expected to continue strengthening across the board on the back of uncertainty as a result of the fiscal situation in the U.S. It tends to strenghthen during periods of financial and economic turmoil, mainly as Japan does not reply on foreign capital to fund its deficits.

One mistake by me and i am pretty fucked. This thing wouldn't rise at all.

We may talk only about probabilities here, nobody knows what will happen with 100% assurance. Once I said 110 and that's my bet, maybe I'm wrong about that, who knows, but if I'm right my profit would be much bigger than my potential loss, I'm sure about that. Yen may strengthen/weaken due to____, just name it, there are so many factors here ( FED;BOJ; Syria..) but chart doesn't lie, it's clear uptrend. Keep it simple, after all.

You're saying the usdjpy shows an uptrend?

Ok where do you see the stronge resistance point will be whereby price will turn upwards?

is this an uptrend? hm, let me see - from last September till today this puppy rose cca 21% and the highest point was 2670 pips away from Sep.2012. Yes, that's what I call an uptrend . I don't know where the tough R would be, someone said that 102 is the ultimate one, but for me the most important issue is that the direction is obvious - north. The only problem ( as I said many times) is if we have enough deep pocket for corrections. I'm not worried about the trend, just for some severe correction or should I call it "taking down the weak hands". Yes, I guess I'm weak hands , not G.Soros for sure.

Guys, if you lost this week and feel bad, I know how you feel. It's happened to me thousands of times. This is where your desire will be tested and you better have desire in spaids or you will eventually give up. A losing week should be followed by a weekend studying price. What did you do wrong and why does price reverse where is reverses. Look at highs/lows on ALL timeframes. WHY? Why did it reverse there? That is the question. The answer always lies on the chart and nowhere else.

With that said, look at EURGBP. It is going up, I believe. I can't guarantee success, but this looks like a very good bet. Drop the USDJPY loss if you are long, because it is highly likely to get worse....possibly much worse.


Buy EURGBP right now and put a stop at 0.8350. Target .8580. This is a very good r/r trade and one I think will win.

fix some of the mistakes that most of us make.

I will check out that EUR/GBP

Got some pendings down low AUS/NZ 5 year low

I wouldn't rely on volatility to save me from a bad trade. It's pretty simple; if price goes where you didn't think it should you get the hell out. To rely on being saved is extremely risky, and if anybody here plans on trading for a living for a few decades they need to reduce risk as much as possible. If you find yourself getting stopped out only to have the market reverse, study price more and get better. The market is not after your measly position. You are putting stops where are the other beginners are. Don't start doing risky things like using no stop-loss. The problem is that the trader just isn't that good yet at trading. Getting into bad habits (no stop-loss) is not the answer.

As far as AUDNZD goes, I don't think a long-term bottom is in yet. 1.1207 looks like it will be broken. No reason to try and pick a bottom if 1.1207 breaks. Let the market show some strength first. 1.1392 was a good spot for a reversal, and there wasn't much strength off the 1.1207 bottom.

You are not alone. I took a beating last week myself,sorry to hear.

Others have lost money as well. This guy's tip from Goldman Sachs cost him dearly.

I bet that bugger crook goldman gave that on purpose so that some fools would actually long on it and then lose their money. Trusting goldman to give one advice is stupid. Why would they help anyone else?

I know that tycoon too heard his story cos i come from the same country as him. One of the top richest men in singapore. His net worth probably in the billions honestly speaking that 38m loss to him is probably chump change but i'm sure it really affected his ego showed that he got screwed by goldman. He's also something of scum bag when he lost around 300m of some companies shares in the stock markets in the 90s but got bailed out cos of connections.

What actually makes me envious is that this 38m is a drop in the ocean for him. Probably just annoyed him for a while while other poorer ppl would get ready to write their wills and leap off a bridge.

Any advice as to a good place to cut?

I'm thinking at the 99 area which it shot thru to a couple of time. Looks good.

OK who am i kidding it would take a miracle for it to hit 99 i suppose.


One more thing it's good to be religious when you trade this pair. I rediscovered my faith i must say started praying more. My prayers are going to be answered soon.

is that means there is no chance that it will go above 99??

it can reverse from 97.72 best case
it can go to 93.80 worst case

i think you can take loss at 97 if it comes , if you are using low leverage then it wont hurt you .
Its just my opinion.
