DislikedDoes anyone know what the difference between all the templates that comes with the THV V4 system is...? I have 9 different templates, but I don't really know the difference between them all. There is one called "oil gld", which I suppose means it's made for trading oil and gold, but how is it optimized for that? And which template do people using this system, use?Ignored

Rules are clear...
Entry: Above Coral only long, below Coral only short
Price crosses cloud - both Trix cross each other and have the same color.
Best and most secure trend confirmation is a cross of the fast Trix on the zero level.
Exit:Faster Trix changes color and/or touch of a known good resistance/support level.
For me this system looks similar to trading using moving averanges or Trix oscilator but its more sofisticated and accurate.
It seems that is perfect tool for scalping.

Experienced THV with double CCI filters on the most dynamic currencies GBD USD and EUR JPY

Hi traders communauty. I ve lot experience on this profitable system. I believe more on the M5 than M1, after looking trend on M15, with the basic rules of THV. because more pips tp get, and less false signals and less spread to pay by brooker, and less time to be in front.
Probably in the style of member rimci (see post and post by marck for the parameters *24 409 )
The filters of double CCI (see post 24 361) by haggis is a good imrpovement s filters.
I however use the basic system with parameters here (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=114258)
EUR usd is not so dynamic. Im not sure rimci say it directly, but he will tell here. Maybe he prefers also more dynamic currencies
B/ as the parameters of the filters, can rimci tell us if he use them for all curencies?
Rimci parameters trix MTF =
"open orders at 5 m chart,because of that the trixes are little bit faster 16/26 on all TF.
16/26 all TFs
M5 trix......16/26 1.2 hot
M15trix.....16/26 1.6 hot"
++ I VE NOTED that since the beginning of this sytem, maybe only a fex or nobody have published their result for 1 month.
My experience tells its one the most proftable system, too dificult i believe to code, but it doesnt matter as traders pay time to get the pips money by themselves as its the most sure.
So, my idea, is , i would like publish a bit every 2 days on the results and COMPARE with you if we have the same trix cross, the same cloud and the same double CCI enter paramater.
Because this point is often a problem, people dont get exactly the ame signals from the brookers
WAITING ANSWERS SPECIALLY FROM RIMCI, MARCK AND HAGGIS .. and the others
Please pay attention that we all try to participate , so to IMPROVE this system and check the filters and most of all by checking we all have the same current signals by publishing our screenshoot brooker (this is the major point problem). People who participate MAKE IMPROVE, so all participate please if you want to know the results. Only GBd/USd and Eur.Jpy are enough to follow to start making statistics. or this will be statisictcs on MP... People who do homework have rewards
NOTE 2 = I ve relocalised in Poland, near germany (Wroclaw)tax on forex is not very expansive there (and also ost of living). IF you have interest to live there or if you live there, you can also contact me.

Thanks toranaga, can you tell us here, what is your favorite way to trade THV? M5? and what currencies? what stop loss and TP? i use 2 TP levels, THV agrees we can use 3 or 4. waiting for other answers. THV scheme is powerfull, just add one or 2 filters is enough. i believe the most poswerfull is M5, we can get 20 to 40 pips profit. on M1 its nearly impossible to get 40 pips on one trade! why focus on M1, i think its a mistake

you would know, at the moment i trade THV at D1. (?!) Mostly..
16 Pairs
at observation.. looking for a nice 100- 150 pips tradeAlso scalping at M1, mostly 3-4 Pairs.. the majors..
Not more than 5-10 pips TP, SL 10 pips but thats the last last border.
on M1 its nearly impossible to get 40 pips on one trade! why focus on M1, i think its a mistake
Of course thats a mistake. A M1 THV scalp can earn you 3-10 pips per trade and that was it.
But, with patience every day 10 pips with high lot is a lot of $$..
Did not tried M5 but its a nice Idea... Mostly i trade M1, D1 and H1/H4..
The hardest thing is to switch from M1 scalping thinking to D1 thinking.. he he
But on the other side, imo, it does not matter what TF you trade, if you understand the system and the behavior..
The THV system is a killer. You can do so much different things.
And with CCI its unbeatable..
Btw. i fellt i love with the ATR and discovered it because of THV.
Example,
i only trade a pair if its ATR is 8 or more in M1.
The whole system behaves different if you have the wrong ATR compared to the TF.
Its a important thing imo..
