EA has been giving up pips fairly well today, aided by the China news and Euro worries. I see EU knocking on the 3500 line (or close to it), so I'm out of EA short for the moment.

It's going to be very interesting to see if EU can break the 3500 line.......

I was in the middle of typing what you've just reiterated to the thread RJ - spooky!! I exited EA at S1 also for the reasons you mention.

Man if the EU hits 1.3500.............strap on your seatbelts it might be an interesting ride...............

I have selected 'No Emails' Jamz.....one of the few things we still have control over on our own profile. They're probably working on that as we speak though

True story - when I first started trying this forex world, I was convinced that pivot points were silly and didn't matter ... how little I knew back then!

Quick 13 pips off of EA following bounce off of S1. Put TP 2 pips below DP as I knew that chances of it going any further than DP were likely to be slim, and I'd rather have 2 pips less than miss having the TP being hit.

[Note, it seems that my DP is 2 pips off of ActionForex, so actually my TP was right on the DP].

Yep....it's funny when we look back at what we were told, yet dismissed.....only to 'discover' months or years later!! I came across someone here at FF who stated that Pivots were rubbish and that the PA had just as much chance of turning around on any random line I cared to draw on the chart...lol. I couldn't be bothered explaining/arguing the point.....he'll see it for himself one day!!

Insane

And all talking absolute sh*te !!

I remember one of my early posts on the thread claiming S/R zones were much more powerful than pivots........................nobody replied to the post...............and I learnt why quite a while ago. Trading the 5-15 it is an indicator in itself for me.
