Wow, what a great start to the week. a 100 pip gap up in the Euro which seems to have started a new wave upwards.
Apparently Larry Summers is not interested in the Fed Chairman job. Well face it... who would be? Whoever takes that job is going to be blamed for all of Bernanke's printing. Looks like Benny's alter ego Janet Yellen is nicely lined up for the job.
Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it

Yep, but not yet for me. I want to see 34xx first. If we don't get that high, I'm already sufficiently short and can scale in more later.

I think their official appearences (prob just to make look like there is an actual dabate between them..) prior becoming the chairman should be considered as the least indicator with all the forward guidance, threshholds and depersonalisation going on isnt it!?
Anyways - thats long term, but now - FOMC just a couple sessions ahead - whats the point of risk..!? I think its just another way to get better high to short for bastards..

GM ~50 pip retail gaps in these 4 pairs. Not shown, but the Aussie then put on a further 75 pips - OK, Tokyo is closed, so they were the main players, but does this suggest that once London kicks in € and cable will follow??.....that will give PT his 3400 and me my 1.6000 - 50 ......TWT but its nice to see some action after the Summer Doldrums

PS the two coloured lines on my € chart are from my updating S&R levels indicator - just shows how old levels come back into play as the pink one must be > 1,100 bars old...

Naaah.. I'm just looking for a few hundred pips worth of correction here and current ramp up threatens to mess up these technicals.. Current low at 3100 seems to be a bit wrong.. another LL before moving higher would be very welcome.., UCHF and UJ staring at a new daily bull swing too, but now they creaping dangerously low..

Our bet was against 2740's, but I see technical possibility for bullish continuation from bellow that and above 2660, which is the only really KEY support here

Technicals on daily 4H, 1H charts are down (+FridayTrap +Gap)
Fundamentals looks more up than down, but
the market mood is netrual, and bears peep out from the burrow
