the channels were drawn on this gold chart weeks and months ago, and all lines are parallel. how weird the price just trades to the channel lines?

Pick a random spot on the left side of the chart and draw a parallel line through the price chart. Let's see how many touch points a random line gets. Then do the same with a line that's not parallel. I'm not saying it's wrong, but I always wonder if most of this is coincidence.

you cannot pick a random spot. the channels have to be drawn through local price extremes.
i also wonder why people or algos trade to the channel line most of the time?

I'm really asking how many bounces will a random line have that gives it the appearance of relevance. I'm not saying I'm right or wrong about anything.

a random line is not called a channel line or trendline. and a random line will not give you a hint that a price possibly will reverse.
look at the DXY chart below. The left part has a descending channel, and the right part has a rising channel. The channels are not draw random. when a channel is broken, it signals a trend change most of the time.

on week/month time frame 1.3411 is humble target for long, daily candle so far clearly show short squeeze.

larger target are 1.3580/1.3620, 1.3890/1.3940
