tbh, i was late to the party on this trade

i think this is temp strength till the fed event next week... but i remain opportunistic in my approach

Goodmorning the thread.

DHT, from a visual appraisal and "groove" PPA method, I conclude that EJ is going back to the triangle TL at 132.00. When it get's there it will bounce, thereby creating a right shoulder to complete a dowside pattern that should get us back around 131.x. At that point we can take off our underwater-shorts, don regular shorts, and I will leave this horrible instrument alone until it can next provide a minimum 300pip downtrend.

Trade today seems to be more vigorous than yesterday, so let's look out for some opportunities for now and tonight's US session!

30 more pips of additional downside (c 132.10), and the break becomes invalid...

Good morning all.

Now that we've had a bit of a shakeup in the markets and we seem to have a diminished risk of military action in Syria, I think now the focus will yet again turn to the Fed's meeting next week. Till then I expect recent risk gains to do some position adjustment... possibly via some consolidation. It's a tough market nowadays with all this geopolitical BS. It seems macroeconomic drivers have been thrown under the bus.

It is times like this that I take solace in my long term EW counts... and special thanks to Infinitus for helping to further my EW education.

you might be right...

i meant critical for the bears on H4 basis (i am not in this camp)

this is the daily, key levels are: 35423 (127 of H4), and 36375 - 36637 (127 of daily, and 1618 of H4)

GM - the "horrible instrument" post caught my eye and having in the past been an underwater practitioner too - sticking to mainly intra-day trading has cured me - I took a look at EJ and its component UJ, where I have just closed an early short and am looking to see IF I get a buy signal....

So, at present, both € and UJ are showing potential buys off my 5m charts - € off its 3300 level and UJ off its late August high....a good bounce in UJ would make a nice shampoo to help get our Bermudas on from a higher level....

Posting from experience traders are very informative and making me newbie learning process becoming interesting everyday.

This is my today analysis ( from Newbie's eyes). It may be wrong, but that's the one way to learn in very small baby step becoming like all of you experience traders here,
