Three Dragons

GM - I can see that there is some confusion over my chart set ups and EMAs used.

I use both 5m and 15m Multi screens set up as different MT4 Profiles. I normaly watch the 5m Multi and this helps me decide on which pair to trade off my 1 min chart. Thus my 5m Multi Charts show the 5m & 15m Dragons and the 15m 89EMA - see the attched.

For my actual trading I drop to a 1minute chart on which I have changed the 5m Dragon from a 170EMA to a 120EMA. I did this some posts ago as - this being Work in Progress - I get better (earlier) entries without bringing in too much whiplash - always a problem on the 1 minute chart. I do NOT intend to make any further changes as these settings provide adequate trading opportunites to enter profitable trades durning the European Session.

My objective is to show a methodology which allows the more experienced trader to follow the Intra Day Swings on the 1 minute chart and make Objective Entries based on the Price Action around the 5m Dragon (proxy), using SonicR PVA Alerts around known S&R Levels and I usually post three or four charts each day demonstrating this. This is NOT scalping - just trying to follow the ID swings.

I hope this clarifies the queries raised and now I need to start thinking about trading!

Edit: and I did, with a late sell in UJ.....

My late entry only got me half of the $20 available and I've just closed my second trade for a wash, after there was no follow through after the WRB red marubozo......

Another sell in UJ off the 5m dragon and there is that retail gap to fill....there was also a buying opportunity in cable....

This morning's swings are only offering ~ 20 pips / move and UJ missed my TP by a pip and I was too slow in banking, so only $20 gaiined.

GbpUsd was also a nice opportunity for a clean $40 - I didn't take it...time for a break...

Master Sonicdeejay can then include in Post #1, the link to your post you make here so that Sonicers, new and old, can easily find your contribution in the future via Post #1.
