I'm long. I bought some at 99.20 and I have a buy order in at 99.50. It may close the gap on the 4 hour chart which would bring it back down to 99.30 ish.

The gap up is starting to close. I think we will close the gap and then go up. I am bullish usdjpy

So far today, price has respected that TL

I'm leaning towards bearish for a bit
but haven't put my money where my mouth is,
so pay no attention.

there is also the divergence in RSI & MACD at M5 tf which may pull UJ back down from what appears to be an ABC from 98.50...

I]ve got Uj and EJ in triangles since the May top, and for me only above 100.22 in UJ would invalidate this idea...

I see the divergence too - particularly with the macd histogram. We'ss see what happens. I will either buy from lower down or higher up. The idea is to stay away from all the play in between

closed my usdjpy long from 99.04 @ 99.75 and 85.

Shorting cuz of 1h ichimoku TP @ 99.45 SL 100.5

Bear flag invalidated. CHF/JPY and NI225 futures showing large gaps as well. USD not affected. Now the real question, will the gap close?

it is possible for gaps not to be closed, but the thing is I am seeing people refer to the UJ and EJ PA this Asia morning as a "gap" but my platform shows it as fully traded up to current levels from 99.11. M1 tf shows there were quite a few corrections traded up to 99.80
