was building aussie long position last week. It went up earlier than I expected. It might keep going up for a while,

sure mate, not secrets in trading as is anything else, common sense would do, If someone does not want to say, he has nothing to say:

my long term oscillator was telling me that the trend was up and the short time one was pulling back towards it (bulls flag), got in 1 pip above the last candle of it with 1 pip sl below the swing low. Risked 4, made 3.

My tp was for 4 pips but that last bull trend bar could indicate also running out of breath and a retracement. This is short term idea, get out 3 or 4 bars after entries.
