Perhaps. It's up quite a bit. According to the piece, the assets that increased prior to conflict fell down during/after. So there still may be a pull back.

Oddly enough, out of EUR, JPY and AUD, AUD had the best performance throughout

your probably right,,, dont forget where Turkey, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, then just across the water is Egypt Libya, Sudan. and old Georgia had the Russians in there not long ago. North of Turkey is not far.. Syria is in a special place.. Iran backs Sierra, so the Chinese back a oil route. The most stupid thing the U.S. has done to shoot themselves in the foot was take out Sudam. He was caged, and could of easily be used as an attack dog. That F.U. will cost the U.S. a Trillion+

This is getting scary, the H1 looks exactly the same as the H1 of 19 june, when the downtrend kicked off and it dropped 500+pips

The most scary part is if it continues to copy it we will see a dip from 23:00 to 07:00 of 60 pips

Small chance of that happening as i still belive in a Retracement of 1328x and possibly the last retracement up to 1.333x before.. before real daily downtrend

Friendly advice, don't leave any trades without a stop loss especially if leaving open over night!
i know I'm teaching most to 'suck eggs' but there's nothing worse than waking up grabbing your iPhone etc bringing up your FX charts and ...... WTF!! Turn on the news and seeing that headline 'US have launched strikes overnight' etc etc etc

I'm short EU, currently 4 pips in profit now, strangely enough I'm also short UCAD, currently 5 pips negative but I think in time it will turn positive.
I'm also short EG currently 4 pips + and Swissie long 3 pips +.

If the war in Syria starts, thats a bullish trend for the Euro!!
The dollar will weaken as shown on this chart (Weekly)
When the afghan war started it went extremtly bullish, same with Iraq.. the Euro dubbled vs the Dollar in 5-6years

The oil was already contracted out when we took over Baghdad. To the victor goes the spoils and all that. Compensation is a convoluted thing but just like in WWII the offending parties did a type of compensation. Politically, it is not expedient to talk about it during the time of rebuilding but it will be addressed and the cheapest payback will be in the form of oil. In fact this is why you have behind the scenes bureaucrats to dot the i's and cross the t's. Making the defeated party pay a war indemnity is a common practice with a long history.
