There is no doubt there has been substantial inward flows in EM and the unwind at the moment is severe and volatile. And While I don't see Italian default likely while they are in the Eurozone, but they need an average 3% GDP growth for the next 20 years to bring their Debt-GDP ratio to around 90% ( still 30-50% too high).

Now for a Country that isn't growing, and is unlikely to see any for 2+ years, or reach their 2007 GDP highs for another 10+ years (real GDP is at 2001 levels I Believe!!!)

I don't see Italy a having a bright future which will be harder with ~130% Debt. So no I don't think BTPs > EM bonds. especially as one could hold to maturity and just incur MTM losses and not care and get 2/3x the yield.

nothing really of note but 1 hour close aabove 1.334 slightly Euro positive would have liked to see it hold below to keep the bearish pressure but nothing really of note just still a rangey type of day

the oil fear has the ea looking decent for a pullback... atm@ 1.4874.. yesterdays close almost a i hammer on the day at tested r,, and the 1.5 sike level

2 options today.. 2 different plans although despite oscillators not favouring me I still prefer the short plan which is what i'm playing for but shown the long in case as well. The short plan is what I was playing yesterday where I suggested a trend change and io follw that that today we see a lower low..... some people will see the pattern as a flag...
