What about the H4? I always check 1 TF up, to confirm the trend, and the H4 PA was going up. Also the red line of the TDI was going up, which would make me very cautious to sell.

Hi guys

After being several months away from FF, here i am back to the forum.
Hope to be able to contribute and share some knowledge.
Here is the only trade i took today on EJ

Hey Bro,

Looks like an okay spot however any reason you didn't wait till Candle closed before entry? I am a bit of a nit would of liked to see a stronger bearish candle in this spot, I am on my phone but tdi angle cross looks weak but I apologies if its just the phone.

fwiw where price is now, if we got a nice bearish pa with TDI cross I'd suspect you'd see a stronger retrace down towards that swing low!

Thanks a lot for you kind replay, guess what?! I looked at 4H candle and it was indecision candle, no clear momentum, lost candle in no mans land

So next time will look more into 4H candle , study it in relation to H1 entry and exit

What do you look in 4H candle when you trade H1 ?

i took this trade in the afternoon (one hour after london open)

entry rules:
1) the TDI was crossing up.
2) APB candle #1
3) the price was finding resistance
4) strong monthly and weekly support
5) Stochs were in oversold region...

Hi Scorps,

I took that trade too!!!

What I did is close the short for a small loss 10pips or so and re enter long with the apb colour change and tdi cross. I stayed in the trade until it reached R1 on my pivot indi which bagged 49 pips making up for the loss on the previous trade.

Don't know if that makes sense to any one!

I would like to ask you about your first trade sir, is this 2 Bar Reversal candle formation with double bottom or I can say 2 bar reversal with tweezers bottom

I'm building my trading plan arsenal and am getting a lot of help from your trades, and explanation, thanks a lot

You are correct.....what we call it is not really important....the important part is recognizing the pattern so you can act on it. I would not call it a double bottom because the low the two candles were several pips apart....I would have called it a pullback candle reversal pattern.....again....call it what you want but the important part is to SEE it. And yes....entry was taken on a break above.....

just my 5 cents : although the trend was down, the cross of TDI happened above MBL, which makes this signal less strong.
that would have kept me out of that trade opportunity.

Hello all, I am still studying this method and just observed the TDI cross on the 1HR on USD/JPY. It is a weak cross and is close to the 68 level. Not taking a position, however going to watch the action.

Thought I'd upload a chart, I jumped in about an hour and half ago short. Thinking about it now I'm not so sure it was a solid move, it looks like it's near resistance but then the a few previous candles suggest its bullish so might be a short lived dip.

We'll see, any advice welcomed.

Also went long on USD/JPY. Ultimatley I went with the daily charts, but I have just realised that the daily candle is probably coming to a close soon, it's little things like this I need to iron out before going live. Running with it anyway and will see where it goes.

Quick question as well, would you guys consider this a bounce trade or should it be nearer the red line on the TDI? Normally I would only do a bounce if it was nearer but wanted to find out what you guys thought?

I remember that Big E say about stay away of New NY Release and try to enter after realease

If we use only the basic can we say the enter was Ok, but you know that the market do that the market do
