3260 is my line in the sand - the most important level to the downside in the current range.. If it gives the way - 3205 lows will be eaten with no hesitation..

yup, i think the FOMC was crappy enough what ive read for gold to go higher, next few hours will be very important pref. to get above 1366 again

Hi,

thanks for allowing me to contribute Piptrapper

I wanted to share my chart am looking for a break and close below the trendline for continuation further south to the 1.3000 area initially. Failure to break and follow through would most likely mean a test of 1.3500

its not mystical and even not a number, but profit taking area. 60's up till 3480's is the minimum that it will go and probably much more..

fkin lol, you were wrong. say it. it did 3460 for all intents and purposes. anyone who wanted profit thereabouts is out. any real trader is already out and not riding it down 2 cents to hold out for 4 more ticks on original TP

OMG Red. I agree with your argument 100%, but I think the delivery needs some refinement.

I was talking about levels, not entries and exits. Its very individual thing - risk and MM management..

Its quite common behavior to fell shy off the target for a few pips right before the risk event. But as it retraced deep enough - next swing up will end up above 3500 probably..
If 3260 gives than correction could extend till 3150/30..But as long as it stays above it - it will fly away - just sit tight and watch it going without you

P.S. I was screaming for 3430's (Commerzbank stop loss) since the end of July

Most likely EU will come back to 3290's again for one more dip before bullish continuation
